I just sniffed my atomizer, and I was like AHHHHHhhhh. Stuff is dope. It'll be my scent of the day. This fragrance is so legendary. Every time I wear it, SEVERAL people will ask what I'm wearing. In a good way.... Gnarly video! 👏🏻👌😂
I traded for a bottle of this before school, back in the day not knowing what it was. I sprayed it three times in the middle of Mrs. Perelman's English class. I got sent to the office and suspended one day for each spray. It was worth it.
Drakkar Noir, , Safari, Farenheit and Joop. Back then that was my starting line up, and recurring buys ...to me these were as badaases as the ATeam, Mcgiver, Manimal, and Six million Dollar man.

I’m 50 years old and I just started updating my Fragrances this May. My whole collection consisted of Drakkar Noir, Cool Water and Versace Blue Jeans. I’ve been wearing Drakkar Noir for over 20 years. I now have over 70 bottles in my collection and still Drakkar Noir is still in my collection and I just picked up a Vintage bottle.
Bought my first bottle in 1987. Loved it! Do I care if some scents would be considered outdated or cheesy today? Not a bit. It depends on how confident you are with the way you present yourself. Feel the power.

I bought a partial small Cosmair bottle of this on eBay. I never wore this in the 80s, but it smells familiar. I'll be wearing this once in a while, but I won't be replacing my bottle. It will mostly be to get some nostalgia reactions from people.

the thing is im in my early 20s and no one i know knows what it smells like, so the negative connotation is irrelevant to me, i love it. just ran out of my dads old vintage formulation and got a new one
Ive heard about Drakkar for years so i bought it a while back and i rock it nearly everyday. I get a compliment now and then if someone is close by for more than a few seconds, but i know many people smell it because it definitely turns heads. Yes this is a reformulation but can still be oversprayed, which i did one time. I dont recommend 5 sprays, 3 of which were on my neck, too strong for hours. Now i do one on my neck and one on top of each arm.

Nice! My first fragrance was Brut by Faberge. Dior Eau Savage and Polo Green followed. Every guy owned Drakkar Noir. Wish I still had the vintage bottle from '82. Classic MTV, Hall & Oates, aerobics classes, Huey Lewis...ah, the 80s. Feel the Power. And btw--the thumbnail is totally *HOT*.
I have over 120 bottles in my collection, and I do have it and I do rock it from time to time...but then again, I was your age when it was released. (I had a perm like that). Lol.

Yep, LMAO!, the '80s powerhouse scents and their "metric shit ton of notes." and yet, somehow, it often worked! On Wednesday, we're getting a large haul of '80s scents. Most will be sold ... hopefully we'll make a $10 profit. lol & I'm scared, it's a risk. Unlike you, I was alive to experience this decade and all her over-the-toptitude, so I just may keep a few decants for myself. Or, if all goes poorly, I'll be smelling like Ysatis, just like back in the day. ;) The Giorgio Beverly Hills will not remain in my house for long, however. It was banned from restaurants and it's banned here. Hopefully there is someone around who still loves it ... preferably not in my state. lol.

There was an apocaliptic change, in performance at least. not sure your one is the last release. I have some semi-vintage release and it is ok, a friend of mine has both my edition and last edition and last one is much much less less long lasting. I've never experienced first edition but, according to few people I know tried it seems it was even much more persistent. (but opinion might be affected by memory).

It's a crime what they did to this. I had a bottle from HS... probably 2002. I was still wearing it last year and it would EASILY make it through a full day of work. Now it smells the same (maybe a little more citrus like you said) but performs like a regular EDT... 4 hours or so and it's hard to detect. :'''''( Awesome motif though, man - reminds me of Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon!
