If they're gonna charge $250 a box then they should stop calling it O'Pee'Chee and just call it Upper Deck Platinum. Absolutely ridiculous price increase

Upper Deck is actively pricing me out of the hobby. This is my favorite product, but I am not paying $250.00 for a box of Platinum.

I watched the GPS breaks and couldn’t believe how horrendous the centering was. I guess that’s par for the course with OPC, but when you more then double the price maybe give us a bit of reason to open the wallets, yeah?

Someone should compare 2 hobby boxes to a case of 20 blasters, from what I seen so far blasters are pretty good nice!

Cases don't have a case hit FYI, I watches 2 full cases and it was a field day with watered down junk for 250 it's a rip off 😊

I really appreciate the review of the box at the end of the video. although i listen to the full video it's easy to look away and miss things so the review at the end is nice to have!

Your box seems a bit better than mine but you can still see off-centering and left to right scratches on the retro cards. Great video as usual!

The Houndstooth is the first card I’ve seen in any video today which has truly good centering and would be worth sending in to grade. I was so excited for this product to come out but sticker autos and the quality issues with a $200 price tag (that’s real American Freedom Bucks) pushed me away today at the card shop. I got a box of ‘21-22 Artifacts instead for $85 and pulled a sweet Alex Newhook rookie auto. If it clearances down to $125 I may consider it so I can try to build a base set but beyond that, it’s hard to justify the cost.

I love this product but def don’t understand what the hold up was. I’ve watched a bunch of boxes opened and been in a couple breaks and that’s the first houndstooth I have seen!

Unlike 20-21, these are definitely going to go down in value. The rookie crop just isn’t enough to back up this price. These will be way cheaper in 3 years when 22-23 gets released, buy one then.

Bought a 8 case box. It was terrible conditions.. still got some nice hit but man those cards half of them where damage / something stuck to surface and the centering on half was terrible 😂 very dissapointed

By having it released as a jumbo box they raised they could raise the price and water it down hard

3 rookies per pack of 12 is the same ratio as when platinum started 1 rookie per pack of 4

This hobby is leaning more and more for rich people, just look at the price of boxes, the average person can not afford these price increase, unfortunately were not all zeree who can afford these 500 dollar boxes and 1000 dollar graded cards. Cold hard facts of the hobby. Cheers

This looks like a great first box to rip if I can find one for a reasonable price. Every rip I've seen has the same level of praise for the product and not the price.

Its absolutely insane that they release this product with every single box containing tons off off-centered cards. Spa is a worse, watered down product aswell. Prices keep going up while content and quality keeps going down.

So, I have always loved Platinum. Even as they watered it down, it always looked amazing, and collecting it was the high point of the year. I will not rant about how for numerous reasons, I have for the most part stopped collecting over the last 6 years. I have, however, kept collecting platinum. Well, they finally did it. Too pricy, too watered down, total lack of quality control, not aesthetically pleasing, and oh, did I mention too pricy...I have figured out why it took 2 years to release this product. It took that long to complete the print-run. I have really enjoyed the 2 year break, as I have built up a STUFFED binder of '20-'21. To look at it for too long, is to go blind from all the shine. But with the release of this product, I'm done! I cant waste the time or the money.

i actually want to try this product out because it does look enjoyable with all the parallels and numbered cards plus the auto, but that price for one auto and a lot of off centred cards makes me not want to buy it

QC I’ve seen so far has been really bad with centering. Makes me hesitant to drop this much cash on a box.

I'm not hating on the set, Platinum has def. been my favorite Hockey release over the past few years. But it kinda feels bad when the entire market has been on a 2year slide since the mountain top peaks of 2020'/21, plus the set is a year late, plus the checklist has been diluted, PLUSPLUSPLUS they raised the price by almost 70% over last year. idc if they're 'jumbo' packs of 12. I'd rather my 80cards for $150 instead of 144 for $250. prob still buy some tho.

The price increases are getting a little ridiculous. How is the average person supposed to get into the hobby? There's a lot of fun stuff I could do for $250, or I could buy one box of poor quality controlled hockey cards...

I already miss the old product. The nhl needs to take away exclusive rights from EA and UD if they have any real plans of growing the game or hobby.
