Seriously, these videos are priceless, I mean without your videos, raw and uncut ( and NO music ) how would we ever really know what you guys go through. This is just absolutely some THE BEST vids I’ve ever watched. I’m always looking at various sea vids but I’m hooked on your Chanel now. Thanks for all you do I and thanks so much fir making these vids
Like toys in a tub, can't help but think, as starboard bow sinks below those churning waters. Hard to imagine waves twice as high - but I've seen yr fiercer footage, so...stay safe out there, & we'll keep hunkering dn over here. Much respect to u all!
Spectacular,, just spectacular!!! I have the utmost respect for all of you! Just now getting back to watching these videos as I had heart surgery two weeks ago. These videos really help me occupy my mind on these fascinating scenes, they relax me! Thank you so much for editing these for us! Stay safe!
Awesome video! Stormy sea is really, rocking the boat. Lol. So guys, who will rescue you, in case of an emergency? (Heaven forbid)? Had that ever happened, I wonder. Thankyou, Safe journeys!
Looking at that other EERV in stormy weather, perfectly shows their great design, snubby nose,no long forward structure to get damaged if hit by say 100ft plus wave, it can just ride as much as possible over it and the rest just smash through, I’d say these vessels are near as unsinkable as one can get, in reality, what would u say is biggest wave you have ever seen and had to deal with?
The largest recorded wave was 29 meters We film some of the largest waves ever caught on camera. We work with 2 oil platforms that can accurately measure wave height so no guessing or exaggeration. Great video as usual! I have no knowledge of ships, but i have a question about the form of the ship. I understand that the bow has to be that high, but the rear of the ship seems very low! Of course there is at reason to that, but could you explain a bit about that? Also what will happen if the ship has a total blackout in that weather and how it will be acting it that kind of situation? Once again, great videos and thank yoy for sharing!
The rear of the ship is where the rescue zone and rescue boats are so this area needs to be closer to the water. A total blackout won’t bare thinking about
Is that the Vos Provider? I saw it in Aberdeen a while back while on the ferry to Lerwick. I don’t remember the details well enough to tell if that’s it. Been on rough seas aboard the Hjaltland but nothing like this!
Seen so many video clips that you have filmed on various TV programs and compilation videos on here, but never seen any credited to you. Dont think thats right at all. Your content is yours and you should get money or at least thanks for the video footage.
Thanks for pointing that out. My videos are available for RU-vidrs and documentary makers to purchase via either myself or through agents. Of course some people just rip them off. The best way to tell is by looking for my watermark. If there is no watermark then it has been purchased but if the watermark has been blurred out out cut out then the chances are my video has been stolen. I report several of these and get their RU-vid of Facebook pages shut down.
@@Bigwavemaster1 ok will keep a look out they are pretty easy to spot aswell by the fish on the rails in front of bridge lol. will keep an eye out on the watermark part.
I was just thinking to myself that it’s so slow it might be quicker to walk, and then interrupted myself with “what? On water? Are you Jesus or summink? Boat is a little easier.”
You could have tried walking to see what happened but you’d have been better of surfing 🏄♀️ We go as slow as we can so as to minimise the impact of waves hitting 😊
Very much so. The wind can make a big difference when it is blowing on the side of the ship as to the direction you need to point to go in a straight line. This is called leeway. That also increases fuel consumption.
@@Bigwavemaster1 You don't have trouble with company policies? I filmed amazing footage of the Perigrino project, but I think I will have trouble if I upload them.

@@Bigwavemaster1 Don't think so , he was on ships that worked around the rigs , anchor handling etc but is currently on one a bit more specialised that has an undersea submersable that can do repairs on well heads , etc . I think its DOF and might be Skandi Hercules .
Pretty bad weather and that ERRV is heading in but the men on the ship that makes the videos Bigwavemaster1 they are staying out and will ride out the storm and that will also give us some great videos to watch.
Some people would think that this is a bad day at sea, it isn't, a bad day is when you are due off and you get a call to say your relief has the flu!!!!
Whatever that is supposed to mean? 😂😂 How about this one. The largest waves on the planet at the time of filming 🌊🏄♀️ ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1qxaWXBqgME.html
