@@chrysanthi_ They are amazing dogs for first time owners and for people who live in apartments. do be careful though and get one from a reputable breeder who does health checks on the parents and even the grandparents. Cavaliers are amazing but they can have health problems if bred poorly.

It sounds like how I was, when I was little, and my mother would take me to get my haircut; she’d try to bribe me beforehand, with toy cars, and sweets, so I’d be good for hairdresser, but it never worked…I mean, I already had the sweets and toy cars, so there was no longer any reason for me to abide by our previous agreement haha. My mother would have to sit in the chair, and pin my arms down, as I wriggled, and screamed the place down, while the poor hairdresser did her best to work as quickly as possible; my mother would tell her to just do as much as she could, and make it even, before my screams got too unbearable, and my mother could no longer take the embarrassment caused by her feral child haha. It seems like some dogs and children have a lot in common, when it comes to acting like we’re being tortured, during simple grooming sessions; I can imagine the embarrassment your niece must have felt, with everyone being able to hear the screams, and knowing that they were coming from her dog. I think I would have got out of there pretty sharpish too haha. Hope you are well. All the best. 👍😀

Problem is, they're always spoiled and entitled because they're used to their good looks being their free ticket to a lot of things. So far, none of them have worked out. A less attractive girl may not have the healthiest lifestyle but you're more likely to find one that's down to earth. If you don't see her as a potential partner, then she might be a good friend. A relationship doesn't have to be romantic. It's okay to go for girls you find attractive but I'm sure you'll agree it's not okay to treat someone poorly just because they're not attractive, be it a man, woman or animal.

Be sure to walk & socialize yours. They are extremely intelligent and require obedience and a workload to be happy in life. Not a "hands-off dog" unless you want them to get disobedient and nasty. My neighbor two houses down just had two german sheps taken away by animal control because he never trained or walked them and they got out and bit somebody.

YES. This!! This is why I am so nervous. I did something that I was completely uneducated about but SO glad I did because I got the best little girl in the world. She chose me and she ended up being absolutely beautiful (couldn't tell under all of that puffy fur at the time!) and her personality was a complete match. When I get her a companion, I see that I'm on a list in every situation so far. I'm not sure how I can do a personality match doing that. I'm not interested in looks.

You have to nurture and train them, literally interact with them every single day, deal with their personalities through immaturity, any sickness, and age, make sure you're enriching their bodies and little fuzzy minds (except Chihuahuas :p), so their personalities will make a huge difference. And if you don't understand any of that, you shouldn't have pets. Edit: I read your other comments not even realizing dogs need vaccinations, so it turns out you're just an idiot. A close family member of mine has 3 Sherman’s and they’re all happy and healthy (their 9 puppy puppy litter too and they’ve all already found their forever homes ^^)

We have kept a few German shepherds and thankfully all of them were from working class. It's really hard to find working class German shepherds in my country. Our last dog was a German and belgium shepherd mix but had a straight back and we kept it.

Seriously, the overbreeding and bad breeding of purebred dogs has become so terrible. Unethical breeders just want to sell designer dogs without care for health, and people keep buying them.

i don't know, when i was younger my sister picked out the sweetest most passive dog at the pound(was a heeler mix) and as soon as we got him home he was running around trying to bite our heels to make us go places. he was a really smart dog i always assumed he knew to put on the sweet boy charm just to get out of prison, then the alpha came out.

Funny thing she was the most exposed to other things beyond the rest of the litter as she is the one we kept back, she is feisty but those are the very fun ones to work with and generally thrive on having jobs so I can't wait to see how she grows 😊

@@metamon2704 Yes, and she did have hip problems for the first 3 years of her life. I started feeding her a different dog food and she never had problems again. She was super lazy too so i think she was the exception. 😂

@@sinxerely6313 I’m not 100% sure she was full German because she was a rescue. She looked like a German and that’s what her vet classified her as but I think she maybe had some lab in her as well.
