I ain't the biggest Butturff fan, but when he said "make him earn it" I gained a little respect for the kid. He's going against one of the all time greats and Belmonte didn't blink. Great finish to that great match. Seeing the kids reactions in Australia was amazing.
I don’t even really like Belmo, but that last match made me tear up. History being made, and something about Buttruff’s “Make him earn it!” really struck a chord with me.
Jason Belmonte Vs. Norton in that match was great. I believe that was the same show where Walter Ray got 10 pins constantly. Seriously, I have no idea how Walter Ray got so unlucky. It was messed up. Belmonte just got bad carry but happy for Norton. :)
Barnes-Haugen TOC is the bowling equivalent of the Miracle at Rich Stadium in the early 90's where the Houston Oilers blew a 31-3 lead just after halftime and lost to the Buffalo Bills in overtime. Loving it, just like when Greg Norman blew a seven-stroke lead on the last day at The Masters and lost to SIR Nick Faldo by six. Barnes and Norman--my least favorite bowler and golfer.
Hello Bowling Planet. 🎳🎳 Hope you're well. I think you deleted your latest community post, but that is fine. 👍👍👍 As I mentioned, I have taken a break from RU-vid since Saturday last week, bit I am back now, feeling refreshed (albeit slightly tired at the same time). 😁😁😁 Love your amazing channel, please stay safe, keep it up, and looking forward to the premiere. 😊👍❤️🎳🎳❤️👍😊
i swear there must be a curse of when a player needs specifically “strike and 6” because Belmo had it happen to him, Randy Peterson ofc, and i can’t remember but there’s some other ones
Strike and 6 is a 22 pin fill, 9-spare-9 is a maximum 19 pin fill provided a strike was thrown in the 9th. So not only do you not win if you fail to strike but you also immediately lose.
