As a neutral, Doku should have been booked for kicking the ball away in the first half. Arsenal’s first goal should have been called back because they took the free kick a full 8 yards ahead of where the ball should have been placed. Trossard clearly committed a foul against Silva. But he was an absolute idiot to kick the ball away, particularly already being on a yellow card. Where Oliver went wrong was being inconsistent with not giving the yellow card to Doku but booking Trossard for doing the exact same thing. And he did not have the courage to actually enforce the correct spot of the foul that lead to Arsenal’s first goal. Poor officiating by Oliver.
Doku didn’t get the yellow as the ref was pointing to the Arsenal players where the freekick should be taken which was further up the pitch, so doku kick it where the ref pointed.
lol don’t spread misinformation. The place where the free kick was taken was different from where the other player was on the ground. In fact, different player who was down. It was not 8 yards
