Fun Fact: The acid and enzymes inside our stomach breaks down the food we are eating and cleanses the body. You don't need a juice to do that. *Disclaimer: I am just saying that for the young viewers who get influence easily.

Ivanna T not really, we get more energy from the food than we need to break it down. Our bodies are made to constantly digest food so it isn’t necessary to give them a break. But to each their own, I have heard some great things about juice cleanses

You don't. If you do them often you have higher risk to develop diabeties. In juices there is as much sugar as in the fruits and veggies it's made from. But the sugar in juices and smoothies is absorbed very quickly and you get really drastic changes in your blood sugar levels. You should drink just 1 glass of fresh juice a day if you want to be healthy - you get the vitamins but not many sugar rushes

It’s currently 11:14 pm and I have school tomorrow and lately I’ve had no motivation to do anything like AT ALL and I cleaned my room today bc I had the day off and now I’m watching this and for some reason it has motivated me to be happy about going to school tomorrow and to get up early and actually get ready instead of putting my hair in a bun and slapping on some leggings and a sweatshirt so I thought I’d let ya know it made me motivated about that :)

Just remember that you don't need to 'detox' or whatever. Your liver does it for you. Juice is great because it's high in vitamins, but it has virtually no fiber to keep you full, and is full of sugar, so will spike your insulin. I'd recommend, rather than doing a juice cleanse for a day, eating only whole fruits and vegetables for a day- you get more fiber, so you'll be more full, it's way cheaper, and higher in micronutrients and protein

Skylee Higginson this confused me at first too! But i looked it up and when you drink coffee black it doesn’t effect your juice cleanse because the biggest benefits come from not eating solids, and there are basically zero calories, (so therefore carbs fats or proteins) in it so you can even drink it black while fasting without effect

i worked at a juice bar for a few months so if u wanna do this for real i should probably tell you: doing a juice cleanse for any less than 3 days is useless, it doesn’t do anything sadly. to get your body REALLY flushed out and ‘cleansed’ we recommended 4-7 days. i use to do a 2 day cleanse every month and i was like why doesn’t this make me feel different. then i tried a 5 day one and i felt great after!
