I knew a guy that was the stereotypical "everything just seems to go right for" kinda guy. Had a scholarship to attend some prestigious university and play football. Everyone assumed it was nfl after that. He got into a bar fight and hit his head on the pavement, killing him on the spot. Fight like hell if your life is in danger and fighting is the only option, but other than that, it's almost never worth it.

What I be hating about the news is they rarely tell the ENTIRE story…also TELL WHY he pulled the gun (which shouldn’t have happened still) and who his anger was directed at WHEN he pulled the gun…the young lady STABBED the black man several times when he was ZERO threat to her and when he realized he was stabbed he stopped fighting the guy, to confront why she stabbed him, then he pulled out the gun at HER not the guy he was fighting…again this is still not right but please tell the ENTIRE story…and as for those doors to access the terminal, 1 either someone has to open it for your OR the ppl at the Booth has to open it, so he didn’t JUST enter unknowingly

I may have exaggerated but we have way more civilians than cops like by a very large margin. & our subways also have several entrances and exits it’s not really a plausible solution. We also have police officers assigned to the subways now and it doesn’t stop anything from happening. Subway crimes are up like 20% rn from what they were last year.
It's impossible to stop armed people from entering the subway system. There are 472 stations in the system that span the 4 largest boroughs of NYC (Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan & The Bronx) and that doesn't include the entrances and exits of those stops. IMPOSSIBLE!!!!

Most of the entire subway car thanked him afterwards for saving their lives (and most of them were black and Spanish) and two other guys were helping restrain him who were people of color. He’s a Marine, he was trained by the US government to protect innocent lives. For some strange reason, after ALL OF THIS TIME, the toxicology report still hasn’t been released. Why?

Not necessarily... it all depends, who was the aggressor, who started it, did anyone try to leave the situation, etc... etc... I can give an example: let's say a 6' tall muscular gang member walks by an old lady and grabs her purse, she doesn't give it up, he starts beating her... she tries to fight back.... but keeps getting beaten... She then pulls a gun, to defend herself, the guy grabs it from her and shoots her in the head. In such an example, he does NOT get to claim "self defense", eventhough she pulled the gun on him. As of this moment in time, this altercation here, isn't cut and dry.... YET. Wait for more facts to come out.

U act like the National Guard is fully mobilized and the city is under martial law/partial martial law. It's not. Just a small portion of soldiers were deployed to AUGMENT/SUPPLEMENT the NYPD in few areas of the NY subway system.

Rule #1 in my conceal carry class....NEVER pull out your gun unless you are going to use it. The video doesn't show the transition from one guy to the other but my guess is the original gun owner who got shot, did not commit after pulling it out.
