I got super frustrated once i got into art college that they don't teach us fundametals and how to get better. We're focused on abstract art and paint "what we feel". After one year i felt like i didn't leveled up. Your videos and teachings helped me so much to improve my painting skills. Thank you.
Another great video. Thank you for doing paint week again . Been following you now since 2020 and am enjoying doing portraits . Your instruction has been very helpful. Was very sad to see Ian Robert’s go off RU-vid. Have been following you both since the pandemic . But very grateful you are still posting content . Looking forward to the commissions webinar.
Sir, I have been painting landscapes using acrylic for a long time. Recently I switched over to oil paint. I have had good success doing so. Here about three weeks ago I decided to start doing portraits. I admit it is a challenge. I enjoy watching your videos and I'm looking forward to learning more on portrait painting
Thanks a lot for all your videos coach! I had stopped painting for 10 years and just came back to it this year and your videos have really helped me take my paintings to a whole new level 😁😁
Funny, as a motorcycle instructor and racer I would tell students to focus on one thing each time they went out in the track, but haven’t diligently applied that same logic to my painting. Thanks for the lightbulb moment.
Admin! (Or anyone who knows )I’ve heard this background music before, and it’s stuck with me. May you please tell me the name of it! Looking forward to working on my portraits 💪 Thank you for the video!
Hi, I am very interested in your course....I tried to email you for this question but no email info. I do not want to oil paint, I want to do this in pastel which is very different as you know. I like the way you have been teaching..how could I benefit taking your course??
Just let us know from here (any future video) when you send this email about the webinar. Most of the time I skip my emails due the amount of junk I get on my inbox. Thanks!
I’m looking to purchase the portrait course before the sale ends, I was just curious if I will have the course forever or if it will expire after some time?? Thanks for all the great videos and tips
Nicely explained. I like the idea of breaking down art into parts. But, I believe that is called specialization through partitioning of skills. In contrast, periodization is a method where you change both intensity and frequency of training over time. None the less, simplification to complexity is an important method of adaptation.
