If his passive would of been he has a second normal attack , u would have to give it some dmg reduction , else its just good on lvl 1 and doesnt need any upgrading . From what iv seen , world eaters are made for onslaught and pvp since they are highly conditional on killing things . Some buffs that would prolly fix abaddon and other chaos buffers is that they should buff eather in bigger aoe ( 2-3 hexes , in case of death guard all of theyr buffs and effects should be in contagion aura size ) or in case of abaddon (cuz it might be too broken for all of the buffers) make his passive dmg buff global and make let the galaxy burn eather a 100% proc or make it affect all enemys (even chaos).
we chaos players have always been neglected in Tacticus imo. i Would love to run just full Chaos teams. but its not viable. i feel like everytime i Rank up Chaos units to D1 i should have invested in something else, but my Favorite Faction is chaos so i'm always Conflicted.
first of all, great video, I do see what you mean, the characters have all this "great potential" under a ton of circumstance, but the constant problem is that, so many characters can already do more with less prep, less positioning, less circunstances from turn 1/2 than the WE on turn 5/6 after all the perfect conditions, is like they are building a giant solid stone castle, on the middle of a damp swamp, when there is a perfectly fine and solid plain next to it Now 2 random complain I have nowere else to put, Kharn's attack animation looks like he is just lazily throwing his arm at you and makes me mad, all the WE attack animations feel heavy/strong/bloody, kharn feels like he is just swingin his axe after a bad rest night, and 2, the mouths on the side of his helmet look like they have little hearts inside instead of tongues and I cant unsee it
I'd love for Chaos to have more viable GR characters, but it seems to me like the World Eaters simply aren't it. Too much time stacking, too conditional, too easy to punish at L4/L5 imo. Fun designs overall, sucks that they will be SO hard to pull off in GR.
I also 100% agree on unchaining the faction and Snowprint being too careful with it- at worst we will get another buffer, but you can't stack them all anyway- I noticed it with my Mech teams that against Psyker bosses I can't buff Rho by both Eldryon and Helbrecht, since you still need characters to synergise with the buffs, instead of everyone being a buffer. Azkor getting the "chaos only" treatment was nasty, it should be "non-Imperial" to match Rotbone instead.
Another point that is overlooked: Azkor and Kharn need to kill one enemy EACH for both of them to work together. The only scenario azkor is used for GR is with kharn. But in order for both of them to work, they both need to kill an add each. That means a minimum of 2 adds and basically 2 attacks wasted. This also means that Kharn MUST waste his rapid assault on an add. He's never going to hit the boss with his full potential. Either he has his rapid assault or he has his passive. Can never have both at once.
@@woody40000 Yeah definitely. Like you would have to position him in a way that he gets his azkor buff after azkor kills an add AND an add is positioned so that kharn can hit both the add and the boss... And it's really not worth the condition stacking
