I'm not really sure what to say here! Other than I hope that at least one person gains something positive from my life experiences. This video kind of signifies a closing of a chapter and the start of a new for me. I hope you can join me on the next leg of the journey. The story I promised to tell a long time ago is at the end. If you can make it that far, here is your medal! 🥇 with love, what else is there? XX Emma XX

WhispersRed ASMR I feel sad knowing you've experienced similar to me growing up. But nice that I feel like I have a bond with you because of it. I wouldnt wish this kind of experience on anyone. Narcissistic abuse is awful. Emotional manipulation is so so nasty and it makes me sad that so many people have experienced similar.

WhispersRed ASMR I had a VERY similar upbringing to yourself.. I have come out of it in pretty much the same way as you have portrayed.. the correct help etc eventually! I no longer feel alone and I can't get over the connection between our stories. I'm so happy (but sad) that we relate in this way but... wow Emma. I didn't know I could love and be grateful for someone I don't personally know... you are an inspiration to me. I'm lay in bed with tears just out of relief that I'm not alone. This community is the best medicine ❤️ thank you SO much for your stories Emma, you are beautiful inside and out xxx

WhispersRed ASMR thank you so so much for sharing this Emma! Yours is a heart-stirring story, beautifully presented and narrated in a very touching way. I still feel something grasping my throat from the moment you told about December 17th. Have less than 6 hours left for sleep now (time zone difference plays nasty tricks), but don't regret watching till the end one bit. May all your plans for the future be true one day. I am sure you will manage it as gracefully and with motherly care as you are doing now with your videos. I mean, I don't even have tingles, and I still watch every your video - just because you create such peaceful and soothing ambiance that all worries step back. Thank you a lot for your work and for sharing your beautiful personality with us.

When I saw the time of this video I thought I'd watch a few minutes and that was it. I ended up watching the whole thing in one sitting and my DVR is still on pause from whatever I was watching on TV. You are amazing and now I understand why you are so good at what you do. You took the childhood pain of your mom and turned it into helping others. Basically you're giving us what you didn't get from your mom. You have a nurturing spirit and it all makes sense now. I completely agree with life troubles preparing you for the next chapters in life. You are a Godsend. God bless you Emma. You are adding years to millions of people's lives by helping people cope with anxiety, eliminate stress and relax. Emma I have never wrote anything before I have been watching your lovely videos for years now and they keep me peaceful happy and relaxed. I'm sorry u weren't valued with family and your friends didn't value your friendship enough to let you grow with them through life with the codes of friendship their loss, I have done the same I have experienced so much and have took lessons from them and grew with them. So I am happy you have peace within yourself now too. Thank you for gracing us all with your help understanding and relaxed atmosphere as you help me sleep and let go of stress at end of busy day. That was the best video very honest emotional and delightful with happy ending for your family. I am very confused about porn reference I do not get this at all it shows them in a harsh very strange light if this is what they call it I actually feel worried for them as people?? I would not give this any attention at all none!! A lot was very like myself and I too became a Mum in 2003 then 2005 and working jobs also so get what you mean about being spread thin. Thank you I can't sleep because of sciatica and slipped herniated discs and you honest give me distraction to listen to other than laying thinking of pain this helps me so very much. Emma, I'll never forget my 3rd grade teacher... Sister Bernadette AKA Sr. Hates Kids. She used to beat my hand with a yardstick..i am a leftie and she said she'd "beat the devil out of me". I never understood why she hated me so, but thankfully I had other teachers that were wonderful. I was also bullied mercilessly by other girls...you know why?? I developed early . I got my boobs by age 10...my period at age 11, and these OTHER GIRLS bullied me for having my period. My period! Something they'd one day get too! Why girls are so evil towards each other I'll never understand. *I'm also born in the late 70s.

Your story gives hope to others and I truly appreciate you and everything you've done and continue to do for those around you and for the ASMR community. My wishes for you are that you get everything you dream of! You are a kind, gentle soul who wants nothing but to give back to others, to help others find peace and joy. Emma I am completely lost for words. I've watched you for about 2 years now and it's funny how you think you know someone! I could never have believed you had led the life you have. As if I already didn't love and admire you so much, it's now increased 100 fold! You are such a brave and wonderful human and please know that we will never mistreat, disrespect or hurt you in any way like people have in the past. Strange to say to someone I've never met I know, but you have been such a huge part of my life the past two years and I know will continue to be so for a very long time. We are your people and we love you! Thank you so much for sharing xxx

Omg Emma, I can’t possibly describe how healing this was for me on such a deep level. Thank you for your bravery in telling your story. I also grew up with a narcissistic parent, and am an empath. I’m just realizing now, that some people I have allowed in my adult life did not deserve it. It was absolutely projecting behavior when your friend called you a narcissist, and that’s exactly what my narcissist parent has called me, while projecting his own narcissism on me. My brother died a month ago and for some reason I haven’t been able to cry. Listening to this helped me to really cry, and feel like someone really understands, and feels the same pain. I also am a singer, and have been scared to really pursue it. I’ve been watching ASMR for 10 years and I’m thinking about starting a channel. Your bravery despite everything you’ve been through, is truly inspiring. Much love from, a kindred spirit: empath, singer, sensitive friend in LA

I just laid in bed and watched this... And it's beautiful. I was in tears more than once, and I'm glad everything worked out for you, Nam, Mia, and Bo. I feel like this had taught me so much more about you, but also, it showed me that moving out is a step I have to take. I've been living at my parents for about two years, now, my fiance died in November 2015, and I was forced to move back in... But I haven't really been able to save anything because I've been so focused on travelling, seeing historical sites, and such, and I still have nothing to move out with. But I see others do it... And I'm just not so brave. I'm afraid I will fail, I'm afraid I will fall. Hugs from Pennsylvania, USA! Thank you for your ASMR videos!

Hi Emma :) I don't think you'll ever see this comment, but if you do I would like to tell you some things. Thank you so much for sharing your life with us. I'm writing through tears right now, so please excuse grammar or spelling mistakes. It was such an emotional story that I cant stop. I stumbled upon your videos about a year ago, when i was first interested in ASMR, and there wassomething about your voice that felt so nurturing and soothing that kept me clicking from one video to another. So many extraordinary things have happened in your life. You and your family are just so amazing to go through it and stick through it all together. There are so many things that I love about you. Your slightly lopsided smile is adorable. The moment you fell in love with Nam made me, as a Vietnamese person, feel loved for my dark hair and olive skin (Jack Butler is just a fun name i made up ^^). I find the fact that you named your son Bo to be so loving. Hearing about your accident and everything that followed was haunting and I am so proud and happy that you are in such a good place in life right now. I am so glad. I am so glad. And you make me want to believe in familial and romantic love. How families could be terrible, but also so loving. How romantic love could sometimes naturally fall away, but be rekindled through self-understanding. It seems hard to believe that all this really happened because it would be too much but honestly how can it be doubted? The kindness and happiness and loving and joy in every one of your videos inform the fact that you've really grown from all the terrible situations life and put you through. Dear god. I am always just so amazed by you. It would be a great pleasure to one day go to your tingle camp. It will come true, I believe in you and the others in the tingle community of ASMR. Others readig this terribly long comment, thank you for being here. Thank you for finding each other and me and creating such a lovely spot on the net for people like us. Just thank you. So much.

Oh Emma...I ended the video (all of it) in tears, not sad ones, but sort of healing ones. From your childhood to your and Nam's beautiful story together, you just hit many many nerves. Funny how we flocked together, the asmr community, and in the end we come from similar paths. As for your local community making comments and being small minded, let me tell you how brave and inspiring you are. I know for a fact that that kind of stupid pressure would stop me. You are incredible and I can't thank you enough for years of helping with my nocturnal anxiety. Here's to many more years of seeing your beautiful red mane, relaxing voice and friendly smile around. lots of love from the city. xxx
