Just stumbled upon this channel and I'm so excited I found this! I very much enjoyed the step by step process you went through in this video. While I'd love to see you color these drawings as well - just doing what you did is super appreciated. Thanks so much!
You draw so amazing! I just recently got into One Piece, but I've been watching your videos before that, and I've learned so much! Your channel has influenced me the most with your step by step instructions and specific areas to focus on. I didn't draw with geometric shapes until I watched your videos and it has greatly helped! I plan on drawing the straw hats and Law, so this is the best thing ever!
Awesome topic! :) Mikey, were you also a bit disappointed about Doflamingo? Like 6 years ago (yes, it was that long ago) when Doflamingo was not a main villain, but just one of the seven warlords, I always wondered how Oda would make Luffy fight him, because his ability to control other characters was completely insane. But now he has been beaten and he didnt even really try to use that ability. One single time in the endphase, yes, but that was it. I always wondered what would happen if Doflamingo took over Luffy and made him attack Zoro or something like that. Didnt happen. I found that weak.
+Markus Creation Yeah kind of - I mean he was a badass awful villan sure, but I think luffy had been controlled (hazy memory) by use of his shadow by one of the older shichibukai? on that creepy island Zoro ends up training on .... i think? But yeah this arc was a bit more about Luffy building up an unofficial fleet behind him!
Im 38 and wish i was able to do something like this, i can draw painted law, luffy, chopper, robin, zoro and ace on my wall but it was all following guides like this nothing I did on my own and to think this is simple. To me this is hard
I really like these sort easy tutorials on Monday. my question is are all of these by reference as you are doing them, or do you take many images of the character (at the time) and just make your own layout? You seem to have a real streamline approach to all of them. Keep up the good work, and I still owe you a pint even though most Americans don't know how much a point is. lol (I say this to make fun of myself) even though I now know.
+Timothy Messer Its usually a mix - either I find one great image that isnt too complicated and break it down, or grab a handful of the most enjoayable images of a character to build up from - its alll usually a 5min search on google images or pintrest
oh thanks its always hard for me to do hat!!! but can you do the same from doflamingo one day please? because I always do wrong his proportions because they are really special (and I don't speak about furthers coat) well thanks to you I love your tutorials
oh your welcome, when I see Trafalgar in my RU-vid's suggestion I directly click to the tutorial lol, thanks again for created this channel, I love what you do and your explications are always clear even for a french people like me :D
