Don’t worry about your videos being too long. I’m sure most of us will watch these a few times and on and off and when we can. They can never be too long, Great tutorials!
I simply love your work and tutorials, in real time! I would love to have an idea of the names of the colours used as opposed to only the numbers? This would be a great help. Thanks for sharing your amazing skill.
Have Loved seeing your pastels, so nice to view a bit of your process! Amazing how lavender over green magically creates skin tone. Could you list color names / brand pencils you are using please? Thank you so much.
De Wa Am I watching the same video? It tells clearly at the beginning the pencil brand and paper he is using. He also states very clearly in his narrative which number pencil shade he is using every time he changes, all you have to do is have a pencil and paper ready to jot them down then you can order them by number if you decide to try it for yourself. You may have to do a little bit of online research for yourself to find how to obtain them in your country.
How do you get such a sharp point on your pencils? I’m new to the medium and a couple penncils break in the sharpener. I tried doing it with a blade but I can’t wrap my head around how someone makes the lead that sharp and long with a blade!
It's called Verdaccio. Many old classical oil painters used it. Probably to give more life to skin. I'm trying to figure out how to get it to work with dark skin tones, though since I usually draw black people.
