Hello fellow painters, in this video I show a continuation of last week's video where I studied fabric and folds. This is similar but focusing on the movement of the fabric rather than each individual potential fold. I chose a few more complex references to draw and paint where I can practice more patience in the painting process. By progressively combining the bigger shapes and letting the values, colours, and brushwork do the talking, I noticed that more movement is implied and I don't have to paint every detail of a fold. Definitely an approach I'll take when I paint on the big canvas.
Thanks for tuning in,
Happy painting!
