I like how you handle the pattern of the blocks on the towers. The tower across the street from our house has a similar type of block with variations of color, which is attractive but I've never been sure how to handle in my sketches. Also really like how you painted in the shadows in the middle of the sketch. You are not afraid to got really dark in those shadows, and that's very instructional for me.
Your colors are very vivid, nice sketch Teoh, and the shadows really well done in connection with the blue sky ! Bravo to give life to the buildings 👍🏻👏
@@teohyc Sir I am from India I want to start designing graffiti art on my laptop but after 1 year because I am studying and my parent will not allow to do it What should I do in this 1 year sould I practice graffiti art on sketchbook ? Or should i directly start it with drawing tablet?
@@teohyc I think drawing with tablet will be harder and take much time to learn and gain control but drawing on sketchbook is easy but requires a lot of art stuffs
Just choose the workflow you prefer. The advantage of tablet is you can get your art on computer straightaway, and you don’t have to spend money on paper, and don’t need the space to keep sketchbooks.
when you add those first vertical building shadow, suddenly the scene becomes VAST! do u ever use opaque media to make the buildings drawing aspect less wonky? love this youtube thank u teoh! is tiffany painting yet?
@@clothescircuit Really depends on your style. Some people like to draw neat and tidy, things have to look as close as possible to the subject. Some people prefer loose, interpretative use-your-creative-license style. There's no right or wrong way, just the way you like.
