That's a legit question if you're just a parasite who has nothing to do asking questions about drawing. It's like asking an astronaut what hair styling gel he's using when he's trying to explain rocket science.
@ adilator Whoa, wtf is wrong with you. I'm asking because im a traditional artist and im in the midst of getting my feet grounded digitally. The brushes and settings ive experienced havnt given me the results ive seen in his video and it is certain aesthetic i like, so im curious how to obtain it within my own pieces. Sorry i kept you from inbreeding with your family, you can get back to that now.
He reminds me of my university lecturer when she first gave me feedback on my literature review. She tore it to shreds xD I do prefer tutors who do that though, there are some who'll say everything is fine but then you don't learn anything :)
In my experience the correct understanding of anatomy is enabling art students to apply gesture correctly. Gesture is in the end nothing more like a very abstract breakdown of anatomical principles and is arising somewhat automatically once a profound and struggle free understanding of the anatomy is achieved. I don't think they should be treated as seperate instances.
