Imagine the ripples of emotion that others enjoyed watching this video as we shared the happiness and tears of the recipients who received the artworks. Like a pebble tossed into a still pond.
The most touching thing about this is that they were for free. This touches ppl immensely. That one would care enough to take the time to do it, then to give it for free? THAT is priceless! Thank u for the video. Would be awesome knowing that person. Blessings falling everywhere he goes
Another great video! Couldn't help but cried tears of joy. These artists did it for the reactions...both from the reactions of the people and most importantly...the way that it makes a person feel to give something. There's no better feeling than giving whether it's love or something material...as long as it's given freely.🤔
yeah... artists need to earn a life, you know? unlike you say, many of these made those portraits by commission, to ask for some money after, or to try to please someone in particular. this world is made of more than feelings and it's a hard life for one who tries to make a living out of art.
@@artzreal I have to agree with you on that point. My daughter in law is a wonderful artist. My 3 grandchildren are almost or already a black belt in karate because she did all of the murals and art work for the dojo. Bartering and trading is what we need to be doing anyhow so that we're not dependent on govt. entities that don't give a rats ass about us. Good luck to you and may you walk in good health.🤔
@@terrileezink7744 artists used to trade their art for meals and a bed in old inns. Now we're not so lucky. Still, once, I also traded a couple of months' worth of lessons in a Martial Arts/Body Build Gym. Underground bartering is what we'll be doing very soon if we don't want to get chip implanted. not to mention the magnetic pole shift we're already entering... hope you been prepping. Good luck for you all, too.
Que envidia tener ese arte y poder plasmar para siempre un gran momento. Y poder despertar esos sentimientos en la gente. Felicidades a esos grandes artistas !!!
to the one whose having their tough times, i pray that whatever u're going thru gets better & whatever u're struggling with or worrying about is going to be fine. thru ups & downs, success & failures never forget the above almighty is always there spiritually & won't leave behind with u have faith & trust him with all ur heart & everything goes well, wishing everyone have a blessed day ahead. Amen ❣️🙏🏼
This is soooooo touching. Wow. Hard to watch with a dry eye. Talent like this is soooooo special. And often the artist just takes it for granted. Just amazing.
I'm always amazed by people drawing portraits in a short amount of time... Went through drawing a detailed portrait once I'm really proud of, but it took me two weeks of drawing atleast 8 hours a day and than there are people who do the same in 30 minutes.
You're amazing! Made people smiling and look at their happy face! You did great deeds to them by simple action that's the most important. That's what makes you an extraordinary person! My respect for you :)
I used to touch people's hearts through music, and spoken word. I can't do that anymore, and it has left me feeling broken, and empty. I now simply post the music I used to do... mostly on my main channel. I'm not attractive at all, and thankfully don't live where street artists work. Devon Rodriguez is my hero, for his art, and the beauty of his heart. Watching these artists touch people's lives with their gifts made me cry, and sadly smile a little for some of the reactions. Thank you for this beautiful video. ~An Old Apache Woman Named No One
Am I enjoyed this video? Of course I did... Brought tears into my eyes... I really needed to see the people enjoying the portraits of themselves! Thank You!
OMG... this Devon R might be my 2nd favorite artist after Akiane Kramarik...... Incredible how good'n'fast some ppl can draw !!! World needs more ppl like this making strangers happy!
Me looking at a stranger for two seconds: Her: "What are you staring at, creep?" Guy drawing a stranger in detail for half an hour from across the room: Her: "Aww how sweet!"
The thing about art s that it reminds us that we have a HEART. Every human heart needs to have a place to extend the love we all carry inside, all the love we have a heard time sharing with other humans. All those tears is the heart weeping because we are desperate to feel!! How many of us have pets that we love?? Simply places to love!!!
There are a lot of truly talented people out there! The two that really effected me were the Swiss judges got made a fool of and the one where the old guy received a portrait of his beloved pooch! A thousand thumbs up!
I’m not convinced that he draws people on the subway that quickly. He probably takes a pic of them and gives it to them later because look at the detail, some of them are in color in great detail. Most people are on the subway for 5 to 7 minutes. I don’t deny the talent, I just don’t believe he draws them in real time on the subway
The precise lighting and shading of the portraits leads me to believe that he is indeed looking at a still photo. If it was a more broad sketch style or caricature I'd be more inclined to see how it can be done in a few minutes from a live subject. But yeah, I'm calling it staged. He does have undeniable skills though.
you'd be surprised how fast artists can work. My parents paid for a street artist rendition of me once, back in Fiji, I still have the picture, probably took them 9 minutes and it looks exactly like me at 5 years old. Actually one of my favourite pictures of me, looks _exactly_ like me, just 10/10 talent for sure PS. I was with my best friend when his Dad got a caricature drawing of himself done, and that also took like 10 minutes and looks exactly like him but exaggerated. I like how they display that picture most prominently at my friend's parents' house; like front and center over the dining table lol.
In the year 2000 I was standing outside the post office in Narbonne, France. Across the street I spotted a young woman sitting with her back against a wrought iron fence, she had a sketch pad and was frantically drawing on the pad. Curious, I walked across the street and discreetly stepped behind her to take a gander. There it was --- a beautiful, large black and white portrait of a bloodshot eyeball.
Early 2000s there was craze of painting n sketch n i earned lot of repect 2022 commercial art has changed ,so now i have changed to my other arts like dancing n singing...as per demands of time .. But glad to see this sketch artist struggling really hard making exact portrait combining it with video n RU-vid reaction channel that can give good subscribers n following...creative idea though
RU-vid is so hard on my emotions. Before watch this I watched one on “instant Karma” in which some men were filmed trying to kick dogs on the streets. This made me VERY angry and made me hate humans. Then I watched this one of painting/ drawing strangers and it brought tears of happiness to me. People can be amazingly kind and loving. I am really not going to sleep well tonight, my head is spinning. 😢😂❤
Those subway drawings.... The person being drawn is fully complicit i.e. in on it. But their reactions after the first few seconds of seeing the amazing drawing is genuine. They would have to sit for a couple of hours
