Thank you Matt. The little bird and I spent a nice sketchy evening together. Since I didn't have any markers, I used charcoal pencils for this sketch. Looks nice and have learned (again) that practise along with a great teacher is the key for me to art making. So greatfull, you hane the membership programm. Buddy

Makes me wish my art supplies weren't packed for moving this month. Maybe if I do a watercolor base of light gray... yeah, that might work.

It reminds me of the time I tried drawing a bird for the first time. It looked more like a dinosaur. These tips would've been a lifesaver back then!

Thanks so much Matt! I just love doing birds as well as pen & ink together on grey paper. I've already go my next bird in mind, Painted Bunting which my kids spotted in Fla this wk so after picking up some tips from you I'm so excited to get to it. Thanks.

Thank you .. i have been seeing a NUMBER of Pod Casts , teaching how to paint, such a bird you have, or owl,, even showing a bear, lion , deer, tiger. by TRACING THE VERY PICTURE , and PUTTING ON TO THE CANVAS , or they Enlarge first, then transfer they tracing , THEN use a projector to ENLARGE, and then copy when using colored pencil , or paint, to finish the bird or animal. What do you think? Several make it sound SO EASY, and that they are making 80,000, selling their ART.
