It is awkward, you are correct and equally awkward to film. Using fabric guides and just eyeballing it, open the bag as much as possible (if it doesn't fit around the arm), go very slowly and keep your fingers safe . . . I keep the needle in the down position so I can stop and start as necessary.

Hi Maria, it depends entirely on the size of the cord that you use. If you can get to a craft store, that is probably the best bet. Here is one I bought amzn.to/3OwKfhT. If the beads don't fit on your cord, you can always hand sew them on with thread. Hope this helps.

Hi Wendy, watch the video from 4:27. Line the cards up with the bottom of the fabric. I have about an inch on either side and good 2 inches on the top.

After the two ends are sewn together, open and press as shown at 6:00. Now you have 1 piece, it's like a circle. Turn the fabric so that the end seams come to the middle. That leaves the liner on one side and the bag fabric on the other. Match those end seams as shown at 6:12 . . .
