The myth in basketball talk is 2 guys win a game for you. They don't. Look at Kevin Durant and Booker in the deciding game. They lost. Basketball is about the role players or at least 4 players on the team. The stars usually get theirs some kind of way. But the role players provide those extra points and it goes one way or another. DLo is one of the role players and the other is Austin Reaves that is the key plus the regular things like rebounding, getting 50/50 balls and bench production. It's not all on the stars and never has been. So, yeah, DLo is part of the problem with the other part being Austin Reaves. The one sole game the Lakers won is because both DLo and Austin Reaves showed up and knocked down 21 points each. And it's been Porter Jr and Gordon killing the Lakers after Joker and Murray (very inefficiently) get theirs.

Austin Reaves needs to score as well. He's a big part of the Lakers offense as well as another playmaker besides LBJ and DLo.

Jordan is the GOAT but some of ya'll LeBron haters act like he should be scoring all 120 points to win. Prince was the only bench player to score and the Lakers guards combined for 11 of 29. Hell Dinwiddie and Vincent didn't take a shot in a combined 21 mins. No one is giving LeBron a pass but to start criticism of the Lakers with him is dumb when he and AD accounted for over half of their scoring, rebounds, and assists.

@@justified004 I'd rather Reaves try to take the shots too. I think on the Lakers DLo tends to be the 3rd scorer but Reaves on any given night can be the 3rd scorer. Dif between them is Reaves goes to the basket a bit more and could score more at the line if he wanted where DLo is a jump shooter who sometimes plays in the paint.

LeBron has come up big in the 3rd and 4th while AD hasn't had many shot attempts. LeBron mostly complains too much. Absolutely, the other guys need to contribute. IMO, Gorden and Porter win over Reaves and DLo because the superstars tend to be a wash in the series. then it comes down to boards, hustle and bench production.
