Don’t know why there is such debate in the 🇺🇸 about US vs European / international players. I am from France and there is no debate here , we know that we are not even close to the US. Even in Europe, Spain is historically better than us.. although we are proud to see that we are improving our level, raising more and more new talents. And it should be positively seen by the USA as it means that basketball is growing all around the world and nba level will be higher.

Who were the last two MVP's of the league? Look at Joker, Gianis, Luka, Wemby, Embid, they are the top of the league at this point in time. This draft was one of the weaker ones but what does that say about American born players if they can't dominate the draft that is considered to be one of the weaker ones in over 15 years??? Look at what KP from Boston was able to do this year and I don't count him as one of the top 5 foreigners in the league and he is an NBA champ. All of our (USA) top players are getting older and ready to age out of the NBA (Bron, Steph, and KD). Our younger rising stars simply don't have the size to really dominate like Bron or KD did, none has the shooting and shot making ability on the level of Steph. Ja, Ant, Shai or all smaller (6'6 or shorter) Tatum and Brown simply don't shoot it well enough even though they have size. For you to say watch what we do in the olympics vs the other team to validate that we still dominate globally is not a very good barometer. The foreign players in the league are from various countries, and they will all be separated for the Olympics while all of the US players are playing together. The narrative is not that one country has caught the USA it's that globally collectively they have caught and pass US players.

The Knicks still have plenty of picks in the chamber even though a lot of them are protected, they are fairly young and, they have assets if they had to make another move. This move does let me know the Knicks are all in on Jalen Brunson. They are building around Jalen Brunson and, that's rightfully so. Jalen Brunson is a top 10 player in the NBA. The Knicks are confident in their star and, the overall makeup of their team. I believe Mikal Bridges will have his best season with the Knicks. Jalen Brunson, Josh Hart and, Donte DiVincenzo have all had their best seasons with the Knicks. I believe Mikal Bridges will get back to his all NBA defensive form and, I believe Bridges will be more efficient with the Knicks. I also like this move for OG to have another great defender with him. I want to see Julius Randle make a step in the postseason. Julius Randle is a very underappreciated player. If Julius Randle can play like he does in the regular season, The Knicks are dangerous. The last two postseasons Julius Randle was hurt, I want to see how he plays when healthy.The Knicks have great size, depth and, they have better spacing. I believe the Knicks can compete for a championship.

Why would the knicks only have a 2 year window? Our key players are/will be locked up for the next several years and will all be in their prime. All under 30 years old, they fit each others timeline perfectly. We’re contenders for atleast the next 5 years.
