Dreading The Scans 

I had breast cancer in 2020 and I now have a nodule they follow. Been 2 years and still no change. There is so much hope for you sweetie. Love you bunches.

Tiffany I'm going through the same I have stage 4 colon cancer I had the colon surgery a year later 2/3 of my liver removed now they see something on my lung. I feel alot of strength from me and yes WE GOT THIS 💙

Dear Tiffany - I was diagnosed with Stage 1 Pancreatic Cancer in 2016. I had my surveillance visit with my Oncologist today (bloodwork, CT & MRI). I too have nodules on my lungs. They have been stable for the past few years. I do worry to a point at scan time and then I leave it in my Lord’s hands. My faith gets me through. I will continue to pray for you and your family.

When my sister was diagnosed with cancer I was beside her taking notes at her appointments, and apparently the one doing all the worrying. When I asked her how she was holding up emotionally she replied, “what are you ‘gonna do?” To this day, 15 years on, she reminds me that when you have no control you hand it over to a higher power and to the people placed on this earth to treat, guide and support you. I have no idea how I would have reacted in her shoes back then but I know she handed it all over to the specialists to take care of her cancer while took care of herself. You've got this Tiffany.

I remember following every single video you put up until your big surgery, I was waiting for a little "update" nothing long. And I love ❤️ my husband - Karsten’s father - and our son James is Karsten’s twin - so we are all being strong for each other. We’re like a 3-legged table and it’s a balancing act. I get up every day. I never spend the day in bed, it’s not going to bring him back so I have to be strong for my loved ones. They need me too ❤

A little morbid but due to Cancer you have learnt just how strong you can be and that you can get through everything, family and friends will mean more than ever to you and you to them, you've inspired probably thousands of people here and helped them through their journeys and I imagine I'm not the only one that is glad Cancer is why we 'met' you! Yes, it's unfair as hell and heartbreaking too, but you handle it with so much grace and positivity. I don't even know you but you inspire me to live my life and fight mental illness and when I have hospital tests, I think if Tiffany can go through what she has, I can do this Colonoscopy to detect Cancer. You're an Angel for sure and we're here for you .. we got this

I took my sister in law to her oncologist yesterday and like you she has very tiny nodules. She said they would need to be 10 mm to be checked. She also mentioned how far radiation has come and could be an option if needed in the future. She cannot have more surgery. We actually felt more positive after the appointment and I hope the same for you ❤ PS it is pouring rain in Ottawa, Canada but very warm!

You have been through a lot and as you progress, the scans and so forth will always be a source of stress and that is completely understandable. Please continue as I can see all the support that you get here and this is all the support that you deserve.

Leave everything in, don’t cut anything out, we want to see you and the things you say and do. My 25 year old daughter is a little bit jealous about you, because I often say „Tiffany does…Tiffany says … „ she asked me, what is so special about this girl, that you watch videos of a stranger?? And I answered: i don’t know, she has something, a special aura to me, and I have experiences like her, maybe that is the reason why I’m obsessed with her…. And I’m a 62 year old woman from Germany . Tiffany please don’t buy & used cleaning products . Because a lot of these products , have harsh chemicals . Unless they’re plant based , for sanitizing u can buy an empty spray bottle & used vinegar ! And you can add lemon 🍋 or orange 🍊 peel and add to vinegar . Your home will smell fresh & don’t use the pipe cleaner . To clean your pipes : boil water 💦 add 1/4 cup of vinegar add baking soda . And will cut grease & will make , your pipes smelling fresh . My cat Snowdessa fractured her jaw while my husband and I were on vacation. 😢 She had surgery and it’s been tough for all of us. You inspire me to keep going strong for my fur baby. I promise everything will be okay! God has you and we are here for you through thick and thin. 💖 You’ve fought through the roughest of rough and this will also pass. The worst thing to do is be by yourself especially at night. I’m an over thinker and its the worst at night. When I’m alone it’s scary because I can start thinking into believing something bad is going to happen. The brain is a very powerful place!

Thier is a HBO show called “My Brilliant Friend” it’s an extremely immersive show telling the story of two friends growing up in Naples during the 50’s and spans decades of their lives, it’s sooo good and will allow u to escape for a short while, 3 season are out and 4 is coming.

Just live life to the fullest and only worry when there is something to worry about. No one knows what tomorrow holds but for today smile and be happy.

Have you discussed any precautionary treatment options, such as radiotherapy, chemo, immunotherapy, or even surgery? I mean, you may not decide to do any of them but it would be nice to push the doctors for the information. There may be nothing you can do but watch and wait between scans, but don't assume that because sometimes doctors just don't bother to offer treatment options unless pushed. If you're passive and block everything out at the wrong time it could be the difference between life and death . God helps those who help themselves!

Tiffany, tumours feed on sugar you know so if I were you I would avoid anything with sugar like hell! In fact some people I know were totally cured from their cancers just by change of diet where sugars were completely avoided (including natural sugars like those in dates, raisins etc…) and of course no processed foods and just wholesome food and lots of green veggies and low sugar fruits such as berries

I love that you have the support of others who are in the same position as you and how you totally understand each other. I have been struggling with something since 2003. Since 2005 I have stayed close to others in the same position - we help each giving hope, positivity and encouragement when times are difficult. You have created a wonderful support group through your channel. Praise and prayers for all of you lovely humans 😘

Tiffany, your weight is good, your ability to work is still there and your family is supportive. So. the rest is up to you. A walk is tremendously healthy even if it's indoors. I've always hoped you would try to pick up an interest that occupies your mind and hands. I keep doing intricate enmbroidery and gardening. I just finished an embroidery of a Chinese style chrysanthemum on linen which is going to my daughter to be turned into a decorative pillow for her new bed. She's making a shawl for me but first it will be going to the county fair for the crochet competition. Last year she won 4 first prizes for crochet. My balcony is ablaze with flowers and sitting in my living room is so lovely and peaceful because the view through the glass sliding doors is stunning. So remember that if your hands are busy or your body is moving it's hard to get lost in your own head. Videos are helpful but it still keeps you in cancer mode sometimes.. we don't mind but I hope you are going to widen your interests and try doing something that needs serious attention. That's why I embroider. One misplaced stitch and I've messed up the pattern. I can't even watch television. I must pay attention. During Covid isolation I was going nuts because of livingvalone and being confined. My daughter got me yarn and crochet hooks. I made a blanket that stays on the back of my sofa during the summer and wraps me up in winter. I dropped some stitches. It is not perfect. It saved my sanity. Keep on keeping on, walking and don't hole up in bed. Good luck.

Hi Tiffany you look more beautiful than ever. Keep doing you. You can do as many breaks as you want. I have been praying for you, and last time I prayed a lot for you was before your first surgery. You will be fine. If it makes you happy and more in control, then look up dietary interventions too. Aside from that, enjoy every day as a gift from God and put your trust in Him alone. Take care ❤

I have concerns that nobody told you that there was additional nodules. That would have been a change. I understand nothing looks differently since December but nobody even mentioned the additional nodules showing up when they originally appeared? THAT is something that you need to be informed of. I say this completely from a place care. I am 41 with stage IV metastatic breast cancer with no family history and was completely healthy with no signs ever before. Surgery is never going to be an option for me. And I have had nothing but bad news since diagnosis-I know how you feel. However, your dr’s or previous dr’s have kind of fumbled things in the past. These nodules are likely not cancerous. Even if there is a chance they are, you could have them for years with no change. They do appear to be super tiny…….BUT, when they began showing on scans, regardless of them not being able to test them yet, you needed to know. You are so nice and so sweet, but please voice this to your team that it is not okay they did not relay these things to you. It is part of the point of the endless scans we have as cancer fighters. It is their job to look at previous scans and compare them and they’d see that “oh, okay, there are now two nodules showing-so small, but they are there…..then you wouldn’t be blindsided again. Which causes immense worry in a cancer patient. And their family. Then it causes more anxiety and depression and you can’t get the scary thoughts out of your head and it begins interfering with daily life. Nobody realizes this truly unless they have been a patient of cancer, and stage IV especially. Some dr’s kind of suck when it comes to this. We may be just a part of their work day, and they may see countless cases daily, but each patient is so different and we all individually matter. They need to understand that. Anyways, keep trying to stay positive. Make sure that you don’t hold it in, even if you journal. Keep doing whatever makes you happy daily. No matter what that is. You definitely Got This!! 💙

What i have in the kidneys is till now benign, but it can change suddenly. So i have to make regularly the ctscan. You are doing good. So I’m guessing Tiff is palliative now then as no treatment has been offered even though the two new nodules been there for 6 months? Yes they can be removed but only so many times that can be done as some lung will be removed each time as well. It’s so sad x

We will be here for each other. I had my post op doctor appt and have been in such a funk. In my scans, I had one renal mass. Once they got in there they found 2, one never showed up on any scans. One mass was clear cell renal carcinoma, one was papillary carcinoma. Sooooo, now I am considered a patient who is multi-focal and I DO have to see an oncologist. I still have a 90% chance of cure, but also have a higher chance of recurrence. I am not sure what my future looks like now, so I am living day by day; however, I am struggling mentally too. I hide from everyone, I stay in bed and sleep a lot. My mind is tired, I am having more depression, more anxiety, more darkness. We all go through these times as cancer patients I think, right? People keep saying “you’ll be fine” thinking they are helping me, but on the inside I am screaming I NO LONGER KNOW IF I AM GOING TO BE FINE!!! Living day to day facing an uncertain future, daily staring your own mortality in the face, with “the reaper” constantly hanging over your shoulder is hard, it is exhausting. Seriously though, how do we just get up and dressed and live like normal when nothing is normal. Uuugh! God Bless you guuurrrrrl! We got this!!

Tiffany, it is ok please don’t worry. I had a few nodules on my lungs. Dr. Watched them and six months later they were gone. Think positive it helps so much. Physically and mentally. God bless you.

Love you sharing your days with us. Life’s simple pleasures, like taking a walk, a drive, watching a show, grocery shopping, provide so much satisfaction and purpose when we are in a place of appreciating each day. Worrying about tomorrow robs us of today’s peace. And speaking of Christmas trees, ours is a pre-lit white and has a slim profile, so room to keep it standing year-round. Outside of Christmas, I put family pictures on it, switch out holiday-themed decorations for Easter, Halloween, and Thanksgiving too. Best part though, I plug it in to enjoy the soft glow on dark and gloomy weather days. Perfectly peaceful ambiance. ❤️

Do you have support groups in the UK? In the US, there are many for people to join: cancer journeys, stomas, cancer at a young age, etc. I joined one after I was diagnosed with cancer over 30 years ago. There, you find people who "get" you because they have been in the same situation. It's such a relief. When I was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease a few months ago, the first thing I did was look for a support group. They have one in my small city that meets once a month: tomorrow!

So happy to see a post Tiffany! I’m working now but can’t wait to watch when done ! 💙💙💙
