ati ufi I will post a video of how in the future. She’s never had them before. Doing the root is a painful process for her. I tried to make this a gentle process for her.
I’m just about to start this on my “white hair” ~ can I put single end dread extensions using a crochet hook & also as my hair grows how can I maintain the real hair dreadlock please? Loved the music by the way. Oh another question I’ve seen twist & rip method what are your thoughts on that method please?
Jaq Watson yes. I have a video of how to do that on my channel. To maintain it you’ll just have to crochet the loose hairs. Be careful on your root because you can pull your follicles out. When it grows out if you can put your finger through it it’s time to crochet.... my experience with the twist and rip method is that is doesn’t last long. With crochet you can wash it right away at it won’t come out. With twist and rip the loc will get loose right away... a lot of people do twist and rip with bees wax which is bad cuz a lot of people don’t know how to use it. That’s why it stinks or it has lint and residue
Eddie Barron yes it’s possible it’s gonna be painful at the root tho. I would wait and grow it out more cuz extensions can get heavy and they will loosen up with time.. you don’t want to end up crocheting it as much
@@betsy_braids thank you for the excellent advise!💙 About how long do you think I should let it grow out and do you have a shop ? I would love to go to you I live in Visalia central california
Eddie Barron you’re welcome I think 6-8 inches would be perfect for adding extensions ❤️❤️❤️ I am in San Francisco the address to the shop is 5763 Mission St San Francisco, CA 94112 United States
Yes but she didn't want her ends blunted. On young lox you gotta keep blunting the ends to the point where you cant anymore. I blunt my ends as much as I can otherwise when you wet them they come undone and soft. My ends are blunted.
Dik Freak the tighter you make the dread the shorter it will get. So you’ll probably have around 8 Inches after if you blunt the end. If you decide not to blunt the end then it will be about the same... the tighter you make the dread the longer it will last after washing
