We absolutely loved meeting Gill who is such a caring and passionate person! You can really tell how much pride she has in her lovely tiny home Airbnb. We hope you enjoy the tour and thanks for watching! 💖
Where is the link in the description of this video to learn more about being an Air BnB host? Stunning and clever tiny home! Thank you all for making this video.... SO inspiring!
I'm unsure if it can be done but have you ever thought of late in the day shots? I could see it was getting later & the shot was stunningly gorgeous which made me think of the night skies & stars in locations such as this place. Asking too much? It was a thought. Like the "girl" who grew up on the land, magnificent gardens? Drives an old truck when needed? The stars must be incredible there as well. Alright you lovies, thank you for another incredible episode! Good health, wisdom, prosperity & peace in your hearts & minds. 🍃🕊🍃
@@greenspiritarts I posted not only the way to get to the description & the link to be a AirB&B host but it was deleted. Truly meant no harm. I guess I did a no-no. I tried to help but it may be for reasons I am unsure of. My apologies!
That exact design was used in a RU-vid video on a tiny apartment a few years ago. Looks like she took the exact design idea, with the exact aesthetic, from that video.
@@fredakurzbard4962 Agreed!!! Never thought a tiny house could drive me to tears but this one did! So beautifully designed in such an amazing location!!! Paradise on Earth!!!
@@lapislazarus8899 that’s actually interior design!! Not architecture!! Interior design is so much more than a space looking pretty. It’s literally this!! Custom designed work
The shutters and staircase are such unique features! Definitely need to take notes for my future tiny home build. Thank you both for sharing Gill's space with us! ❤️😊
So many tiny homes lack art , colour and that creative feeling and it is great that Gill shows exactly how it can be done in such a small space ; an art gallery and a home ! And I just love that "holiday" feeling which could easily be created in any tiny home ! Just imagine how great it would be to feel on holiday while at home !
She is so humble and supportive of local artists. Her idea of coziness is so right. She has created a nature marvel. Most beautiful Airbnb I have seen so far. Bryce you always find the right house. Much love❤❤❤
I absolutely loved how she's so well spoken and expressive when it comes to explain the detailings and importance of any particular feature in the house, she is really smart and I admire that!
I've come back and re-watched this video so many times! I thought it was to geek out on the incredible design (one of my all-time favorites!), but today it really hit me how much the gorgeous setting, videography, editing, and Gill and Bryce's wonderful personalities add to the experience. Thank you so much to Gill and the Living Big in a Tiny House team for what feels like a mini vacation! 💛💛💛 (Yellow in honor of Gill! 😄)
Your videos are like a window for me thru which i can escape the bitter reality of my own world and reach into a world where there is only peace calmness solitude and silence, stay blessed man love u💕
Sometimes I get put off by people who go on & on about their life's philosophy & seem quite pretentious about it. Gill is such a lovely person who comes across as very genuine, loving & caring. She carries herself with confidence & grace; someone who it would be a pleasure to meet. Her tiny home reflects her thoughtfulness & care for others, ie using local artists' work throughout & wants her guests to be cozy & content. Just spectacular!
So much to love here Bryce. First, starting with her. Such a charming, warm, and smart woman. Her having thought through how to be able to earn an income as she got older while doing something she felt passionate about is brilliant. Next, the setting of her tiny home with those views of the ocean and nature is stunning. I also loved the aesthetic of the home, both inside and out. Great color choices and lightness, as well as the thoughtful and beautiful outdoor spaces she created which were so inviting and serene. For me, I would've liked to have seen a bit more storage. Because even as a vacation rental I felt the small closet/drawer beside the bed felt a bit tight. But such a small thing when compared to the many positives of the home.
Wow, this is one of the Best TH. The colors, the staircase, outdoor shower, the lofts, the support of local designers. The yellow chandelier. This TH Rocks!
I have said it before and I am saying it again, this is the perfect layout for a tiny house. I have seen so many with the same layout but it doesn't get boring. Because if you change the length and width, you get so many design options and every one is very unique. This video is very nice and very well put together. Just lovely and perfect.😍
What a lovely house! Thank you so much. I needed this. I’ve lost my best vriend this week. I am so sad, but for a moment you, Brice and Rasa, let me forget for a little while. Thank you. Greetings from the Netherlands😘🇱🇺
One of the most beautiful tiny houses I've seen in this channel. I really love the stairs. That was really well thought of. I love the bathroom and the kitchen. I also love the shutters of the lofts for privacy. I would love to build something like this if I have the budget. Congrats Gill and thank you Bryce for sharing this video.
This is the BEST tiny house design I've seen yet. Bryce, I've been watching every one of your tiny house videos with the hopes of finding the best design for me. This is it!
Of all the awesome tiny homes that you have toured, this one would surely be ranked one of the top 10. The European shutters and the retractable stairway, are supremely awesome features!!!!
I outdid myself today - despite pain and exhaustion. Completed a myriad of outstanding sewing projects! Your message is very inspiring. And to everyone out there: If I can do it, so can you!
Such a clever and happy tiny home, and remarkably spacious, too! Even though she said she intended it to be a romantic getaway for couples, it would also be a great place to stay for a couple with one or two children.
Oh, my goodness! This is such an amazing and beautiful tiny house! How exciting for Gill to share it with so many people through Airbnb. I especially love the red exterior, the pagoda deck, and the outdoor shower. I also love that she features local artisans in her tiny home and exposes their artistry to those who stay there. Bryce, please keep bringing us these wonderful stories! TFS ♥️ Edit: after viewing part of the video a second time and I am amazed, again, add those stairs. I have never heard of hidden stairs but it’s very clever. Kudos to Gill for this lovely idea. And the shutters in both loft areas are beautiful and provide privacy. ♥️♥️
I have seen so many TH videos and have my favourites but this home exceeds all of the others. What a beautiful space Gill has created. The push out of sight staircase is exceptional and the addition of shutters to add privacy and create a cosy bedroom space is brilliant. Love love love this TH
OH.... MY... GOD... Never thought a tiny house could drive me to tears but this one did! So beautifully designed in such an amazing location!!! Paradise on Earth!!!
Would it be possible that you could do a short series on the process of obtaining the property needed to locate a tiny house. I love the designs and the costing of building a tiny home, however the location costs I feel would be a great expansion on all that's needed to inform future tiny home owners.
Beautiful little home. This woman makes me feel happy just listening to her as she shows Bryce around her awesome little home. She loves yellow. I LOVE
My family have stayed as air bnb guests at Gills a few times. It's a magical spot and Gill is a warm and lovely person. The tiny home looks like a great new addition to the property.
Thank you, Gill, for sharing your tiny home with us. It truly is magical. The home and garden, the art work are beautiful, unique. Practical, well planned layout. Really like the pullout stair; great idea. And the stylish shutters, privacy & ventilation. Another keeper, Bryce! I enjoy your videos so much. You & Rasa are the best. Thank you
Beautiful house! Lovely host! The shutters, disappearing stairs, trellis, deck, kitchen / breakfast nook, scenery and especially: the color yellow! Thank you for sharing!!
THIS WOMAN CREATED A BEAUTIFUL PLACE FOR HERSELF AND CAN MAKE A LIVING IN RETIREMENT:; PLUS GIVE BE THE LUXURY OF THE LAND AND THE SEA WWITH THE BEST OF NATURE..THANK YOU SO MUCH,GREATEST AIRBNB SO FAR FOR SCENERY...🖼
She’s so welcoming and heartwarming. She’s so into comfort! Her eyes are beautiful. She looks like a fashion or art-decor designer. What a warm soul! That house is indeed cosy. Love the yellow touches. And that land omg. I would love to stay here.
Based on Gill saying "like my galley kitchen up on top", I'll venture she lives in the red house you see adjacent but farther up the hill ;-) (and 5 times the size of this tiny house) It would be quite the coincidence if 2 houses in a rural area just happened to have matching paint jobs...
i wish i could travel and live in a tiny house , we don't have something like airbnb in my country . i really liked the view of this house and liked what they did with the leader
Thoughtful design and beautifully decorated. I love the bold earthy colours mixed with the black and white. As beautiful inside and out as the scenery surrounding it. Great job!
Such a lovely practical design. Designed suitable for long term living as well as Airbnb! Very clever especially full height walk into bedroom loft. Plenty of storage etc
OMG That staircase! And the shutters. And the covered pergoda. And the pops of yellow (such a happy colour). And the arty touches. And yes, mirroring Mishtr0n's comment below, this IS a work of art.
Those round chairs on the patio; are they plastic or wood & do you know where she got them? I would go on vacation just to spend a few nights in this awesome home. I found my missing sister..LOL
As someone who lives in a rural area just outside of a touristy mountain town, Airbnbs are the bane of our existence. They now outnumber the full time residents, tourists come up here to shop for their vacations and empty the grocery stores. There’s very few people to employ because so many home owners that were once full time renters have become short term. Yeah, please, go away Airbnb. Not hating on what this woman is doing, but Airbnb offers a lot of false hopes for homeowners in certain destinations. It booked during the pandemic and now that Disneyland is open many of these homes will go unrented, but we’ll still be short folks to keep this town running.
Well regulation is in order, they do that in Amsterdam, NL, to calm down touristisms impact on the people who live there - hordes come and grab, then leave, must be very stressful for homeowners. Also who is a thief, who is a renter stress people out
@@Sciayam agreed! But our town council is only concerned with making as much money off tourists as quickly as possible. They do not care about the long term consequences. Americans tend to think of only themselves and those closest to them, being considerate of others would be called socialism here :)
@A. M aw, you’re so cute telling me what I think and feel, troll. As far as sex education, I’m going to go above and beyond, I BELIEVE covid-19 was a warning shot. Mother Nature will eliminate us, and thank goodness, because we don’t take care of her, we don’t look out for each other and we don’t give a damn about the living creatures around us. It’s not that I don’t want to share, but I sure as shit don’t want to have people disrespect the animals and nature around me. It also sickens me that there are so many humans that own a second home while so many others own no home at all. I see you’re an Airbnb boot licker in other comments as well, do they pay you? If not it’s kinda pathetic. Many of the Airbnbs up here aren’t lovely, kind people just trying to make money for retirement (so cute) they’re owned by foreign companies and other rental agencies. So enjoy being a know-nothing-know-it-all.
@A. M and it really is a problem for the working class that can’t find long term rentals which in turn creates an employment problem up here for businesses, but CaPiTaLiSm, am I right? Sit down and stfu.
