Wow! What a difference. You really can shop your attic now. Please consider flipping those two black planters upside down. I'm afraid if you bump that storage rack just right, they might fall on someone. If that is an extra air purifier with the left over building materials, plug it in up there. It will help with all the dust. Please take care of your lungs after being so sick. Give them as much clean air as you can.

My son used to dance competitively. He donated all his old costumes to my home day care for dress up. His dance friends have done so as well. My little ones love dressing up in the costumes. They are well used!

I went to a fundraiser where they were auctioning off a chest of costumes. I won the chest and took it home to my 5 year old daughter. She and her friends played dress up with those costumes for years. At 35, she had saved many for her daughter to use to play dress up. All those dance costumes could make many little girls very, very happy. And trust me, they will figure out a way to make them fit even if they are way too big.

I love the way you organized your space. The only thing that I would suggest, is that you place your hangers in a bin so that they don't get dusty since they are fabric coated. Looks amazing though!

Texas homes also lean more to attics instead of basements. I actually have two attics! We have a two story house, and the attic could be a third story! It has a pull down stairs to get up to it, so I don’t go up there. We added a downstairs bedroom 16 years ago and it has an attic above it. That one opens up right off the upstairs hallway so it is easy access. It is organized! In fact, it’s very similar to the way you did yours. It’s organized by season, and each season has its own bay. Really enjoyed watching this! Y’all did a great job!

Looks fabulous!! Just FYI, cardboard boxes can atrract bugs and possibly cause infestation so you may want to get rid of the one that you do have. I would be going up there too just to admire how nice it looks. Also, maybe you can list your costumes on Thread Up, etc.

I now use colored storage tubs that coordinate with the seasons, I got that tip from you and it works really well when I have hubby bring in the tubs from the garage.

Be sensible and always keep the spare building supplies. Leave them with the house if you ever move. I’m speaking as someone who has lived in my home since 1985! Over the years you need to repair things. You need that builder stuff. 🇦🇺

I just reorganized my holiday decorations. I put everything in clear bins. The first thing I do is remove the sticker from everything and then fill bins. Your attic looks fabulous. What type of flooring was put down? It looks sturdy. Thank you for inspiring me to do more 😊
