I made this and can’t thank you enough. Would you by chance know what colors would be used for the red poinsettia? The colors you had for this white one was PERFECT!!!!
Oh. My. GOSH. We do this all the time when we digitize machine embroidery designs (x/y coordinates at zero), didn't even think about this with a multi-design longarm set! GAMECHANGER, thanks Adam and thanks Cathie Zimmerman!
Adam. I have found that the HQF format will only position to start point. The HQV will move to the 00 position. I don't know what format you were using to open in position. I loved that. Please tell me what format you were using. Thanks for this information. You are so right. "Game Changer"
@@adamsewfun. I'm stunned at the quick response. Thank you so much. But I'm still not sure why when you opened the flower petals you had to reposition them but by the time you showed opening the leaves they opened in the correct position.
@@marianmccoin7634 The newest version of Pro-Stitcher came out during my cross country move and I haven’t updated my Pro-Stitcher yet. I was still using 506 and I’m that version, the design would open to zero.
Jane, I think it only works for the HQV version of the files, you will have to check and see if it works for you. Please let me know. This is all computer speak and I just know it was working and that's about it. HAHAHAHA
This is so fun to watch. What color of thread did you use for the leaves and background? When your done...can you show the back too? Its easier for me to see the stitches. Ty for sharing!
If you go back to video 1 I show the colors I used. I can't remember and I am in Texas until the 20th, so I can't just go look at the cone. Once it's off, I will be sure to show some photos of it but they will be over one Facebook and Instagram. I hope you will be able to see the stitching on the back but I'm using 623 Silver Bottom Line, so it might not really show up. I will still be sure to post them though.
Adam, is the Dream Big digital quilt design digitized with placement? Can we get a Dream Big digitized quilt design and do the Zero placement? Thank you!
I don't think there is one that is digitized with the "zero" placement. You have to have it set up with HQV and they actually need to do the layout on the digitizing side. You could set it up in Designer and do it yourself though.
I did just find out a few days after I made this video that the trick only works with patterns in the HQV format bought from Quiltable. Don't ask me why, that's way above my pay grade. You can always do it the old-fashioned way though.
Adam your excitement is contagious! I love this poinsettia quilt, I bought the Quiltable design and the panel should be delivered in two days. Tomorrow I am going to Santa Clara, Pacific International Festival I'm hoping to buy the Micro Quilter and Bottom Line at Superior's booth. Again, thank you for your excellent teaching and enthusiasm. Happy Quilting, Janet Chosa
I'm currently on my computer to see if the Wasatch Dream Big designs work like this and it doesn't look like they do. If I can find a way, I will be sure to post it on Instagram and RU-vid.
