When gorgeous Dani Fairview (Tempestt Bledsoe) is asked out on a date by the star of the football team, Jim Parker (Kadeem Hardison), she dreams of the perfect evening-dancing, dining, and...a little romance! Her overprotective father Bill (Clifton Davis), however, has other ideas. Bill secretly follows Dani on her date to make sure Jim doesn't put the moves on his "little girl." What follows is a series of hilarious mishaps involving a crazed movie freak (Richard Moll), a heavy metal rocker (Pauly Shore), and Jim's jealous ex-girlfriend who will try anything to get her boyfriend back. *******************************************************************************************************

At first I wasn't sure if I wanted to watch this movie, but I'm glade I did. This was such a good movie, full of humor and innocents. It took me back to my teenage years in the 80's. For entertainment, without all the cursing and lack of acting skills, watch this movie, it's diffently A MUST SEE.👀👀👀👀

oh my gosh! this is such a feel-good movie. it's refreshing to see a Black family film that doesn't feed into tired stereotypes. i miss the 80s and early 90s. however, i can't help noticing that all of the women that Clifton's character was "distracted" by were blonde haired, blue eyed white women... um.. are there any Black, Latino or Asian women in that neighborhood?? then you have the school nurse.. . the LIGHTEST and most Eurocentric looking Black woman casting could find to be Clifton's love interest. i still enjoy the movie. it's incredibly sweet and harkens back to a simpler time in storytelling/entertainment.

This was a nice movie. The girl playing Sally is dead,she was good in Family Matters. Tempest characters are the kind of the good girl next door. I met Mr Davis some years ago at a church in Manhattan NewYork, he's nice. Jackson used to act on the Cosbys as Budd. I forgot what the others were in. This movie was funny. Thanks for the upload.

Yes...Kadeem Hardison was 24 while Tempestt really was 15, almost 16. Underage girls should not be doing kissing scenes with an adult male.

The father said...." my daughter told me something that should have made me the happiest man in the world" but instead it CHILLED me to the BONE!!😨😬😤👿 That father went through HELL that 🌙....but he learned in one 🌙 a life changing experience in growth, some of the time it takes a little longer to learn for some men. I saw this movie almost 30 years ago, and I never realized how incredibly corny it was. Still funny though, reminds me of a simpler time. Anne Marie has always had such great range as an actress and Clifton is hilarious. Tempest is actually 15-16 in this role but has always seemed so much more mature than her years. I can't get over seeing Dwayne dating Vanessa though. Seeking Michelle Thomas always makes me sad.
