I absolutely can't explain how perfect your games are, just because of how interactive, kid-friendly, heart-warming, difficult, and unique they are. Each level is literally just a new thrill ride and if you can make an 18 year old crack up to the same thing a 6 year old did, you've succeeded.
It would be awesome if this became something. Banjo-Kazooie is my favorite game of all time. And Banjo-Tooie, while it became a little too easy to get lost in certain levels (especially Jolly Roger Lagoon and Grunty Industries), was certainly a solid sequel.
If you're referring to Nuts & Bolts, from my understanding it was originally slated to be Banjo-Threeie but Microsoft decided a random twist to build vehicles as the main gameplay element would be a good idea. Sometimes publishers (Microsoft in this case) think that they know what makes a good game and they force the developer to either make the game that they want to publish or get the project canceled and lose access to the IP.
wow this demo was as faithful to the bk series more than nuts and bolts was. please make this game. you guys were my childhood! it's a shame that rare is nothing but a name these days. all the devs who made it THE company it was have gone. now we have a kinect sports franchise.
Wel if its going to be a spiritual sequel, it doesn't really matter. It won't be BK but it will feel like it. And it will be a hell of a lot closer to a sequel then BK nuts and bolts.
While that won't happen, some of rare's former employees started a twitter account called Mingy Jongo. They plan to create a platformer with the same gameplay style and feel of the banjo games. Grant Kirkhope is one of them by the way.
Is this just a test or is it building towards something? I suppose if it was for a fangame the person or whoever is in charge might already have a plot in mind, but seriously, this looks pretty darn good and I've been fiddling with a concept/idea for a pretty neat plot I'd like to do for a Banjo-installment, preferably a highly ambitious fan-game I suppose. It's probably kind of rude and biggot-ish to ask, but if you'd feel like doing one I'd be very happy if you'd wanna work with me, hahaha.
I agree, Banjo is too blocky, and kazooie is WAY too big o_0 I want them to look like how they looked in the old N64 banjo games, just with more detail to them. like have fingers, add fur detail, don't make them FAT! (or blocky), add more lighting and shading etc.
So how exactly did you manage to get the Nuts & Bolts models? Last time I checked the format was something uncrackable/nobody cared enough to crack it. Do you have some secret, in house tools that let you do it?
i have an idea for when kazooie swallowing the jigsaw how about she uses her mouth to throw it in the air then gulp it down it just an idea but if its not good then don't do it also no square nose
can i get a copy of tgis framework youve built. I'd like to play aroubd with it and build onbit if you wouldn't mind. i hve a little experience with unity and amvalreadybplanning on making a "fan gane" with some of the people i work with.
I agree with ya all the way :) its' kinda sad that the N64 banjo is more realistic then the Xbox banjo (he had a round nose in the N64 ones) and the anatomy is just way off in the Xbox one, he looks more like a machine than a bear -__-
when you see this comment just release it in its current state no matter how buggy... we just want to touch another bk game OK?? and we can make a fangame out of this even if you wont
