That may be a very nice guitar, but in those hands it's a truly remarkable instrument. What a pleasure it is to hear such amazing talent from such an unassuming and pleasant character.
Great Video. Grew up with it and -Love that Munsters Tune👍. That Angelina song is a sweet tune. Gotta mess with that a spell. I’m not much of Blue grass picker,-tinker with it a bit-but I like to bounce between Jazz,Blues, folk and whatever to mix it up. By the way-I picked up a original 1890’s Hat like that few years back! Came off the -Nez Perce’ reservation in Idaho years Back.
I'm having trouble finding a good "Entry Level Dreadnaught" with a 1 3/4" Nut. How 'bout a line of "David Grier Signature Guitars" with a Norman Blake Model, a Tony Rice Model & a David Grier Model"? Right now I'm looking at a used Eastman for under $400. I don't need anything much more than a Solid Cedar Top! I don't think plywood back and sides would hurt my sound at this point. I also wish you'd do a lesson on how You and Clarence use your ring finger to pick two notes at the same time. You and He and Tony do this quite a bit but it's a Hidden technique, like Invisible to the Naked Eye. Thanks for sharing this info. It makes me want to play like I haven't for about 20 years.
