I noticed that people in Construction always have the nicest houses, or interiors because they can do the work or know the people that do the work. The kitchen looks fabulous. (although I would have put Calcutta gold marble in to match the cabinets). I like the choice of the unlacquered brass faucet, too!

George . . You are one VERY blessed man to find a woman who would move into a severely outdated family home and stay in it forover TEN years before you fixed the heart of the house ! After 10 years I think the only card you have to pkay is to give her a paper and pencil and have her draw the kitchen plan she wants . . .and then get out of the way.

Such a amazing renovation.. I would of had a hard time being it was in the family for 80yrs. I do understand that there was a need to have the makeover though. Personally I don't like the porous countertops, I believe something will happen that will not be able to come up off them. And therefore be stained forever. It does look more modern now. I hate marble and it’s awful as a safe counter top. And it gets grungy real fast. Poor poor choice Zoe

He’s so cute but he’s scared of her. I guess she’s just tired of waiting. Those folded arms... look out George !! Maybe now that the work is done, she can now appreciate how hard George works ... too. This year is a hard year on couples, ( too much togetherness ) But your friends in construction helped pull it through to completion. You both should be proud of the accomplishment ! It looks great !! Zoe went for quality and resell value: I’m wondering how much the value went up & did it cover the loans to make it better. Or made it Mucho better ! George needed a 🤗 hug ! Why won’t she take advice from an expert. She’ll regret the marble when she can’t get the stains out and will be nag, nag, nag at the family.

Zoe comes off as extremely unpleasant and impractical. She wasn't excited about marble because it looked better or made sense. But because it was the most expensive. And why is she so concerned about resale value of his family home? This was not a good look.

I don't like the paint color of their house. Black is very dark for a young family's house. Just my opinion.
