Option 1, because the space is smaller you want the light colors to make it looks big and bright . The other two options , the floors would be too busy and makes the room look even smaller .

I like option #1. Only because if you ever decide to change colors in the laundry room, you don’t have to worry so much about changing the floor. Guess I’m playing it safe lol… and the hair color is giving 🥰

Top loader, the front loader are a whole mess when the rubber inside wears out..Honey … it’s expensive to get it repaired So we went back to old school TOP LOADER ☺️

And with the front loaders the water never drains all the way out so it collects mold very easy making your clothes stink.

I like option # 1. It’s neutral, and it will be a good option for whatever you decide to do with your walls. Whatever you decide, I’m sure it will look great!

Your hair is BOMB! A refreshing switch up! Beautiful! I love your ideas and how organized you are with each renovation. The tankless water heater will definitely free up space. I might be the odd ball out but I think Option #2 is SO STINKING CUTEEEEEE it gives a bright and open feel with that pop of color you like without being too bold and dark like the third and not enough bold like the first.

Option 2, I think the affordability and ease for such a small utility space that will not be seen by many is the best. As far as brands of washers and dryer’s I have whirlpool top load and I have no complaints! My kitchen appliances are whirlpool too. This is going to be a fun renovation! Your hair looks AMAZING! The color is bomb!

Def do option 3 cause if you put black handles with the blue cabinet - super dope it would work well with the darker blue in the floor design but I know you picked things out already so very interesting in seeing how you put it all together 😁😁

I say go bold with the tiles. You spend little time in the laundry therefore it can be a space you can experiment and not get bored quickly. I love tile 3, with brown grout- a bit rustic and suites the style of your house. The peel and stick tile has a cool pattern too.

Option # 2 it's pretty, durable and cost effective. If you decide in a couple of years you wanna change it up. You can lay different peel and stick right over instead of smashing and removing tile. But almighty choose whichever makes your heart HAPPY 😊.

Top loaders tend to hold more which is a plus when washing bedding also like others mentioned if you need to make repairs in the future it is less expensive.

I vote Option #1. Please don’t do the Peel & Stick tile. I witnessed that in my grandma’s house and they’re not durable/long lasting. They actually shift and separate over time. You’ve really invested in your house soo nicely for every other renovation. It’s VERY important to invest in your flooring. Also, Kayla you look amazingggg! The hair color & styles you wore in this video are sooo cute! You already have a pretty face with flawlessss skin so I know it doesn’t take much effort for you. I can’t wait to see the transformation! Whatever u choose, I knowww it’s gonna be so cute as always! Thanks for sharing girl!

Option 3. Go with quality in appliances. I love my Maytag w/d, it’s over 18 years old and still works great.

It’s option number 2 for me 😍🙌🏾 It’s the gorgeous color combo. I think because of the large window and the natural lighting you’ll be getting the laundry room will be light and airy. It’ll give you all the clean vibes. 💜

I love option one. I think that you love to switch things up often and it offers you the ability to switch things up in the future. Also you can get a rug in a color palette that you like instead of doing your floors. Whatever you pick will be nice. Can't wait to see it. ♥️♥️

Hi Kayla!!! It's your older Libra sister here!! I chose #2, as well. Be careful with tile and make sure it's leveled well and grouted well. Grout tends to crack and lift, if not mixed an applied properly!! Had the experience, just saying!!! Tell your cupcake hello, and still loving y'all show! Love from the Carolina's ♎❤️

Top loading washers with a deep fill allow you to soak the clothes and really get them clean. I like the old designs with an agitator. To me, that along with a deep fill top loader is the best way to get the clothes sparkling clean. The front loaders use less water and look pretty…but for a deep clean go with a top loader.

Oops! Didn’t finish before it posted. I wanted a top loader big enough to wash blankets, bedspreads, etc. I finally settled on a GE and I haven’t been sorry. I’ve given it a work out and it keeps on going. I think I saw one in one of the stores you were looking in on this video. Good luck on your new project. I love everything you do…it’s hard to believe you are so young and yet so accomplished. Bright and shiny future ahead for you and Marcus. You two are doing things right. ❤️

Option 1 and use the peel and stick tile as an accent or backsplash on the walls or to cover an MDF (or scrap wood you already have) countertop👍

You are literally the cutest thing I've ever seen!! How have I not seen your channel before?! Your Part 2 popped up on my RU-vid and so of course I had to watch Part 1 first. We just bought a house and will be redoing our laundry room as well. It's a brand new house and very new build energy so that needs to go!! Our laundry room is about the size of yours I think. The orientation is different so it's hard to tell but I'm so happy for you that you're redoing your laundry room!! It's so fun to make every room yours in your home. I like the simplicity of option 1. It’ll make the space look bigger. But something to consider is a tile inlay so you can have a bit of pizazz but it doesn’t overwhelm the space

That is not true. I am on my second set of front loaders ( only because my house burned down.) I have had my LG set for 8 years without incident. It get moldy because after you wash you are to leave the door open.

I'm so glad you didn't go with a front loader. I use to have a front loader set and I had nothing but trouble with it. We now have top load set and I couldn't be more happy. You have such a great eye girl. So glad I found your channel.

Option 2, I used peal and stick in my kitchen back splash and countertop a year ago and it's holding up. Not sure if the floors were wood or cement, either one has to stand up to water when choosing flooring.

Either option 3 or 1. The peel in stick tile is hard to clean without discoloring if something gets on it that is hard to get off. Also with the you coming from the outside to get to the room, it will probably get dirty easy. Not sure if the room is temp control or not but if not the heat will also loosen the glue on them.

Hey Kayla, I don't know if anyone mentioned it but check the depth of your top load washer. They can be fairly deep for a short person, at least that's an issue I have with mine. Just a tip...can't wait to go through the process with you and Marcus😊

Exactly! I’m barely 5’ and always had the hardest time getting to the bottom of my top load washer! Plus my husband is almost 7’ and his pants are so long that they always got tangled on the spin cycle and started banging. Our front loader is much easier.

Love the hair color on you. Do the tile floor option 1 or 3( 3 is my favorite floor). You want to do the room once with pile & stick somewhat outside elements not sure how that will last. Definitely top load washer research which brand are the most reliable. Even if you don’t get it from Best Buy read the customer reviews. Your house and smile are so warm.

Option #1 so that you can change it up as home fashion changes over the years. Also I recently bought GE appliances for washer and dryer. They have a great warranty and a soaking option so that you can soak the laundry for up to 2 hours and it finishes washing for you-top loader of course!

I love option 3 with maybe option 2 paint, you'd get a dramatic look with that tile be quiet striking. Option 2 is also nice, a subtle look and calming.... I'm sure which ever you pick its going to be beautiful... ❤⚘

They make a sensor light switch so when mitt senses movement the light will come on. This would allow you to not move the door or switch.

I’ve got that! Works well in the dark, and if u have a window in the washroom, as I do, it doesn’t come on in lighted areas, only when the room is dark! Love it!! ❤️

We have peel and stick tile in the bathroom (came already in the house when we bought it) and it holds dirt in the cracks WAY more. Hard to keep clean for sure. I like option #3

First, I have to say I love you hair color and each style looked cute! Personally, I prefer top loading washing machines versus front loading washers. Also I have heard a lot more people complained about having to get their front loading machines repaired more frequently then those with traditional machines. I tend to stick with GE and Maytag appliances washer and dryers. With that said, I like option #1 and option #3 (but since you seem to like option #2 paint color the most maybe consider going with that color for 1 or 2). I prefer hard tiles or laminate but not peel and stick (to me their like a big stickers for floors and walls). Although your laundry room is in a low traffic area it seems to be located off your car port and will be closer to the elements, therefore tile seems like the better choice in the long run!

Option number 2 but just make sure you buy some Glue to stick the tiles!!! I think it works better I had experience with both ( with & without glue) and Glue with the tiles is wayyy better...

I put that exact peel and stick tile in my son’s bathroom. It is gorgeous, super easy to install, and has held up really well to daily use for over a year. I highly recommend it!!

I love your hair! Oh we used peel and stick in my kitchen almost 15 years ago and it still looks great even though it's heavy traffic. It was fairly easy to install, but we added extra glue.

I'd go for a front load washer and dryer, then you would have more counter top, so folding would be much easier and give you so much more surface. I'm personally loving option number 3, it looks really sophisticated xxx

2 or 3. Consider your comforter, curtains, etc. when looking for washers and dryers. You want to be sure they can accommodate your large items.

I've never done peel and stick but option 2 cool or for budget purposes use the left over tile from the kitchen and splurge on the tank less heater. We switched to one and definitely saves alot of space if you can. Also like the lighter marble tile choice. I'm sure whatever you choose will be fine

Depends on your priorities. Real tile is more durable for ROI. Your space is smaller, so I'd opt for the .69 tiles and let your laundry room accessories speak for themselves. Love your new hairstyles and color. Very vibrant.🔥

My fiancée is a appliance specialist for Lowe’s and from what I’ve learned, the Samsung brand isn’t the best for longevity and you’re pretty much paying for the name. Whirlpool and Maytag is a great and durable brands. Definitely top load. Easy and accessible. Front load, you sometimes have to deal with it leaking or molding in the inner flaps if it doesn’t dry after a wash properly. I’m so excited to see the finished Reno 🎉😍

Yessssss to your hair it’s screaming fall vibes💕 But I have a top loader Samsung washer with the clear glass top and I love it and the fact that it is deep feel and measures just the right amount of water for each load. I have the matching dryer to go with it and my favorite part is it times the clothes by how wet the load is which usually finishes pretty quickly

You should get a washer without the agitator, which would prevent your clothes from being damaged during washing sessions. These washers do come in top loading formats as well! 👍🏿😉

Option 2 is super pretty. I would go with that. The laundry room is not a high traffic area so it should hold up well.

This will be an exciting makeover - where will all of your tools and wood now be stored? As far as your washer/dryer, stay away from brands like LG and Samsung. They have to be fixed by LG/Samsung licensed repairman. I have seen a lot of reviews where customers have been waiting a long time for maintenance since the pandemic. Best to stay with American made appliances if you can. Good luck!

Yay!!! Yes a shed would be useful for you because you have a large backyard for one. Now you can even store a lawnmower, decor, and things for your plants.

@@YoungLadyBusiness Samsung is way better also you shouldn’t do tile on the outside because it can easily crack especially with climate change. You should do a floor vinyl or some type of wood. It’s more durable for your heavy duty appliances

@@YoungLadyBusiness I was coming here to say mention this. Brands are more important than aesthetics when it come to appliances. Samsung makes very pretty items but I don't think the quality match. Find a good quality brand first (personally, I like Whirlpool), then find something you like within that brand. Good luck.

I love option number 2. The too load washers are better to me. There have been to many bad reviews on front loads flooding people's rooms. I'm really enjoying these home videos. Giving me a lot of ideas.

Hey! Option 1 is my favorite, followed by option 3. Totally agree with buying a top washer. The seal around the door on the front loads tend to loosen over time (according to the reviews). I have a tankless gas water heater in my new build. It’s very cost efficient and super easy to adjust the water temperature. Love your hair color, btw 💗
