Terry is an awsome dude proper brit but ya can't help but notice how his misses is there for the materialistic things rather than him, the guy should be getting head with his tea not a empty room n tv
I get ya about the wife but when you spend all with with her you really just need some time where she aint there yapping, tutting, farting and scowling
You only getting head as long as she needs something from you. Once she gets the car, kids and house it's all over. She doesnt need you anymore. No such thing as love mate.
God I love this program. Gutted when it stopped. Best thing on TV or RU-vid. Get rid of the crap like love island and bring more programmes like this with real people .
If Terry wants to make some serious cash take all RHD Honda parts and export them to us here in the US. He wouldn't know what to do with the money he would rake in!!
I would have kept the ex-con that had a drinking problem, and invested in some breath analizer's, for everyone, periodic testing, I am a ex-con as well, seems like for every step forward, we take two steps backward's, whats done is done. Great show, I am in Kansas.USA, The boss is cool, profit minded, but not a ass. How do I buy a calandar ?
Mike, You can't. This is an unreal "Reality" show. All scripted like Gold Rush and Deadly catch and all the other faked shows that have become fodder for the feeble minded.
Boyle is eye candy. He is also they typical foolish youth who tries hard but can't stay out of trouble for lack of education as well as common sense. This is all carefully scripted. What is so exciting about a scrap yard. Every day the same thing strip them, crush them, sell the scrap and salvaged parts.
How much money do these guys make from an episode ? And I mean everybody in the yard .... because the girls in the cafe are always cheerful even when they make no money 💰
The reason Terry employs the unemployable is because most people with any other options wouldn't take such a dirty, filthy job. Most people are truly above such work or they should try to be. And when you work as hard as you do on this job, outside, in the cold, the heat, the rain, the wind always covered in grease and grime and working with other down and out types, well it's an environment that makes a person restless and anxious. It's a dead end job for a down and out type of person. Any person with a chance in life would CHOOSE to do something a little less filthy. I mean, such a job could be A LOT OF FUN for A WHILE but knowing this is your job for the rest of your life could really weigh on your morale. So a person might just party it up off of the job, drinking, and getting wild. And these guys are probably relatively POOR compared to most people. It's like any low skill MANUAL LABOR job. It's for TOUGH people with weaker minds and weaker minds often do STUPID THINGS. And I'm saying we probably don't know even a TINY BIT about how these people really are. Can you imagine the machismo on such a job, the very real Toxic Masculinity. And I'm not a person who worries about that. I'm saying I have worked on jobs like this and the bad asses RULE and they will threaten to kick your ass in a heartbeat and it's constant put downs, taunts, teasing. To lose your job and then to come back part time, well that is just FODDER for RIDICULE on a job that is already just a subsistence living at best. Even if people are kind you still know that you fucked up and now you have lost most of your paycheck and you have to hope to come back full time.
From on the dole to being that succesful i take my hat off to that man the very best of what being British means, i just watched the whole first series 1-6 this afternoon and loved it thanks for uploading it Keizer Sozai out x
I mean i admire the tax evasion techniques by employing people who can't necessary get a Job on the books like. Others can i just hope. He pays them a fair wage the scrap. Buissnes is a good buissnes to be in so good game on the guy for. Building it from. Nothing and helping those with seemingly next to nothing/on the brink of. Losing it all so long as he treats. Them well and fair which seemingly enough he does then good on him only issue is too. Many people out there in the same position selling a dream to. People trying to better their lives only to be mugged off by some. Dick by pay getting withheld etc. I must admit I'm all down for helping others so. Long as they have respect and can actually show they want to. Make a difference because ive been there and picked myself up without any help. So. Many times and still do.... With the right person at the lead you can really make a big difference as a small collective in the world with as small as 20 people now imagine what is possible if we all put these constructions of differences aside and join together against the kabol life would be very beautiful but first we must leave technology behind, mother gaia always previals
The company was in dire financial straits. The company was put into liquidation in 2014, which wasn't explained on the show www.thegazette.co.uk/notice/2128914 How they soldiered on until 2018 when the company was eventually dissolved is odd, particularly as no accounts had been submitted since 2013. beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/04363960
@@Billb233 Bloody hell a further check shows that there yet another company registered ie METRO SALVAGE NW LIMITED which managed to avoid Compulsory strike-off action in Jul 2015, one Terry and his wife had resigned in 2014. Leaving Jon Walker as director.

they have changed their name to SCRAPPERS LTD, thats why metro was liquidated. they are still operating today under the new name. if you want proof just type terry walker into youtube
Scrappers is a TV serioes from England. Specifically from Bolton the small city wherein Fred Dibnah lived with his wives, sons, daughters, a traction engine and steam roller. Be built a shop as it would have been in Victorian times and he lived by the rules of hard work, honesty, and the beauty that craftsmen design into their works. Here resides the team of scrappers, a dingy, dirty junk yard, the end of the road for most cars that pass through the gate. You would think, in this simple English town that the synthetic situations and manufactured crisis of US tele would not be found, yet, sadly, even staid old England has fallen victim to the crisis inserted into the otherwise humdrum, though interesting, daily existance of the yard and people who make it work. Take the boy, He left school at 14, and was given a job in the yeard. He finally attains a certificate indicating that this under=educated lad is qualified to operate a claw to move junk. He can't read the questions (Even after 8th grade) yet passes the exam with 100%. He brings an undocumented scooter into the yard hoping to sell it for parts. His boss scraps it, but the boy makes not a whimper. Nor it he given the chance to remove it himself. Then he gets into trouble with the police, yet is let off with more of an administrative reprimand - And this boy stands in court and defends himself to the point where he gets off with a slap on the wrist for evading police? He is accused of stealing copper from the back of a car. We see not this copper, now do we see him take it. They yard boys don't know about it but the office staff do. The boy is suspended until the boss is back, but then the incident turns into a sacking. But after 4 years of carelessness, and other very stupid examples of behavior, he is taken back - WITHOUT even a mention of the theft of copper from a car as well as the plan to put the bounty derived therefrom in his own account. Not one word except told that it is honorable to keep your promise. Then there is the vacation. The boss leaves for 2 weeks and the place goes to hell. One man sacked for drinking, the boy for stealing from a wrecked car (This goes on in scrap yards all the time). No one in the yard is working. The son who looks to take over the business can not seem to manage the yard in his father's absence - people doing nothing, one man take one day instead of less than 1 hour to remove and engine, and the yard turns into complete disarray. Within days of his return the boss turns the business from the edge of failure to a large cash cow by selling off stocks of old Italian hulks. All this chaos created to make this program more exciting. Yet, to any viewer with an once of common sense this is either a story of a business managed by a tyrant using 25 inept and uneducated people to perform routine and repetitive tasks or it is a soap opera made for advertisers to sell product - or the BBC to collect telly fees. Yet one must assume all this fabricated drama is necessary. What is so glorious about dismantling cars, shelves of used parts, "Gloria" operated by the suddenly brilliant delinquent and people coming in to buy cars and have lunch. It is about as exciting as watching traffic from a bridge over the A-1. So I suppose it has to be spiced up. Just don't make it so transparent, Please. People are not all that gullible. Where is the sincerity of Fred when we need him. By the way, The characters are all sort of credible. Maybe they are good actors.
Think I will pop over at some stage to try the cafe and have a look - fortunately at the moment don't need any parts for my car as nearly finished restoring
Things turned worse though. Boss went to court over health and safety issues, one guy got his face slived open and Boyle got sacked. Boyle got put in prison this summer too.
Essentially, the health and safety was really poor. Some guy in the de-pollution shed was cutting the catalytic converter out of a car when the stihl saw kicked back and cut his face open. the boss went to court over it and got fined a load of money.
Terry is a great boss work hard and play hard, very fair guy. I mean I have worked for some bosses where they promise work then go back on it and are also up themselves think they are gods gift basically. The boss here seems so down to earth. All the best really enjoyed watching this programme.
I agree with that . But she's Always critical of what he buys .she moaning she cooks dinner most evenings ( plus if you seen the episode where she was Peeling potatoes you can tell she doesn't do that to often but she forgot to mention that Terry brings her a cooked breakfast in bed every morning . She always telling him not to spend money on stuff he sells on. But look at her house and did you notice how fancy she has the office in a scrapyard business?? High Maintenance to say the least.
Just stumbled on this series. I have lots of respect for this couple . Started with nothing and built up a good business and reaping the benefits. He's a good fair man who deserves to succeed. Why is people on hating his wife !!! she's a good woman and maybe he may not be where he is without her. He obviously loves her, and she him , that is a good combination for making it in life. I'd love to see more of this couple and their team antics .
He is in prison atm for almost killing a little old lady while high on cocaine. Apparently he never got his license back after episode 4, he went 5 years driving illegally without a license before he was imprisoned for his latest crime.
scythe5944 it was a 79yr old man. He ploughed a car through red lights and t-boned the victims car. He never had a licence to begin with. Apparently he’s been released now, is banned from driving for 6yrs and Terry has finally washed his hands of him.
Work fascinates me; I could sit here and watch someone else do it all day. (T-shirt I bought my son years ago and he's still a lazy arse....not really lol)
40’000L of petrol?? Wow I doubt anyone who works there would need to buy petrol when you could just use the reclaimed stuff instead of scrapping the old fuel (chances are the fuel in the cars is still usuable 95% of the time)
This is a totally scripted, carefully produced show that is a sort fo copy of an American TV show from many years ago, Father & Son owning a junk yard, family squabbles, troubles here and there, money crisis - all the same script just more moderns. And they brought the delinquent boy in He's a liability, but he stays on even after he steals from the boss.
lol try to get your company on a smooth road before blowing your money on a luxury house. The calendar thing.. funny how she is having a issue getting people to get naked and yet when she was asked if she is gonna do it she said no .... hahahah 'It's not rocket science'
To be fair he was on the dole when she got with him so you can't say she's a gold digger, they seem like a really nice couple, i would love to work for him he is a top fella looking after all those people who ain't gotba chance anywhere els, TOP FELLA
