I have been working as a Operations Manager for a very large company for years.....I have had very nice bikes and had them for years and sold them after 5 or 6 years with 500 miles on the speedo.....It seems like i never enjoy my toys...I am living thru your eyes now...! Adam I tried to send you a message but it didn’t work. I wanted to tell you that I’ve wanted to ride since I was a kid, but things always came up and prevented me from learning. Then I started to watch your videos and my brother also at this time got his endorsement, and it it just reinvigorated my want to learn. I then found a Harley corse and on July 4th I bought my first bike and I have had a blast ever since. So I want to thank you for being one of the people that inspired me to get my endorsement and buy the damn bike.

It's funny to watch him looking around at everything.

I live near Highlands...it's called Bridal Veil Falls. I've been riding Scooters for 53 years now. I started at age 10 with a Cushman scooter. I've been through a lot of bikes, from Cafe' Racers to Full dress cruisers. Right now, I have a 81 Kawasaki KZ 1100 Spectre, punched out 30 thousandths with high compression heads. Shaft driven...it will scoot. My main ride is a 2000 Suzuki LC 1500 full dress cruiser. I love living in these mountains, so close to the Parkway. Love you videos too. Keep em coming brother.

I just drove Hwy 64 from Franklin to Highlands this past Monday. It was in a minivan, not on a motorcycle, but it was breathtaking. I love that 9 mile stretch with the river running off to the side.

Just completed tail of the dragon and moonshiner 28 as you showed us to include the IronHorse Motorcycle camping sight. We did not stay based on weather prior but did stop in pay respects will return. REPLY

State Route 311 Virginia. Very scenic parts and twistys. Roanoke to I64. There is an old general store at Pain Bank with great food. Super ride.

Hey Adam. Nice ride today! I used to like to go fast through the twisties, but nowadays, I appreciate the sights and sounds, the smells and the added safety of a reasonable pace. When racing as many do, you risk the convenience and safety of others as well as yourself. Enjoy the ride! These past few videos of the ride are really a nice formula for those living vicariously.

28 from Deals Gap to Highlands is one of my favorite rides in all of the mountains! I'm glad you got to ride it. If you haven't already, check out Rt 64 from Highlands to Rosman, then 178 down to South Carolina. Then Rt 11 heading east and then you can ride one of my other favorite roads, Rt 276 all the way to the Blue Ridge Parkway. You can stop at "Pretty Place" on the way, Poinsette Bridge (old covered bridge, big tourist attraction and photo op. Once into the Pisgah Rangers District there is Looking Glass Falls and then Sliding Rock. Once up on the Parkway, make a right and go to the Pisgah Inn. My buddies and I are meeting at 10am at the QP Gas station on Sweeten Creek Rd. Short notice, but maybe you're already packed up and ready to go.

The triple nickel rt. 555 in Ohio is 64 miles of hills and turns. Also intersects with rt. 78 that's a higher speed curvy Rd with some great scenery.

Hey Adam, just road the moonshiners 28 in early September there was new pavement just north of franklin, it was a great ride. Anyone who is going to that neck of the woods, that ride is a must DO.

Nice film, nice conversation, pleasant ride. Thanks for a very good job. I like the area best from Highlands to Franklin. The road is better there than 28 below Highlands where it beats you up. 28 is just a good daytime biker road. That stretch near the "Tail" that goes for miles beside the high lake. 64 near Lake Lure/Bat Cave is also good. 74 on Nantahala Gorge is good outside rafting season. Brasstown Bald and Blood Mtn in north GA heading down to Dahlonega is also a good back scenic twisty.

I've ridden up to Highlands from Franklin many times, it's an awesome ride! I have family in Franklin and the roads around there so much fun!

Oh Adam, I love watching your videos. My husband passed away right before I got my license and we wanted to travel long distances together. Unfortunately, cancer took him in 2014 and I'm now stuck in the house without motivation to ride (although I really want to). So I watch your videos for motivation/inspiration and one day maybe I will see you and Scooter on the road. Safe travels my friend! xo Josie

Damnit Adam! You're showing off all my secret roads!!! 28\64 is my go-to rides. Not too busy. Not so technical that you have to concentrate on the road and miss the scenery. You should've kept going on 28 past Franklin. Nicer roads. Higher up. Safe travels bro.
