You said that 2-3 tnt would be enough so I asked myself "why don't you pick up the gunpowders in the ship wrecks ?" What does it change to get a desert temple ?
It's a bit late now, and you'd probably not see it. But it might help still. For the glass pane strat you don't need wood or coal for fuel, you can just use the spare lava from the pool you build the portal at (or even using the lava in the nether). When you use lava as fuel, you get the bucket back the moment you start smelting, so you don't need anything extra aside from the lava.
22:37 I just noticed this why doesn’t it show his armor? 23:08 and here we see him switch to his inventory and he is clearly wearing armor but still no armor bars. Weird.
Dream If you find an iglu u can cure the villager and do The trades for 1 emerald, then make The villager a cartographer and get all the emeralds and then The pearls. There are 2 villagers in the iglu, so u can make The cured one a cartographer and the other one the cleric
Hmm! Dream had the same idea as me to get lots of sand. With a super gunpowder farm, putting a couple tnt to sand gathering is way efficient for TNT farming.
Small Request: can you please put broadcast dates on the videos? Some of them are posted out of order and it’s a bit confusing as to which one was broadcast first.

here's a suggestion for people to pass on to dream when he next streams speedruns (I'm only part of the way through the first speedrun practice, so he might end up doing this later in the video any) set up the furnaces with sand before going to the nether (I don't know if the furnaces would still smelt the sand while in a different dimension in singleplayer, but at least a few items would get cooked while he's journeying out of the portal) and (the key point) so that he doesn't have to worry about getting approximately 48 coal for 6 stacks of sand, he could put the furnaces by his lava pool & fuel them with buckets of lava, as each lava pool has spare lava once the portal is built, & one bucket of lava cooks over a stack of items, & once the fuel is inputted the empty bucket can immediately be taken out again to grab more lava just an idea :)
also (last post for a while, promise!) for practising speedrunners out there / for people to pass on to dream when he next streams, I've done a breakdown of the different strats: (importantly, all of them assume you find no emeralds/gold/rotten flesh in chests, and unimportantly it all assumes that you buy a bow & a stack of arrows from the fletcher for a total of 6 emeralds) *sticks & cleric strat* you need to: >return from nether >blow up / harvest exactly 8 stacks of logs to trade with fletcher (8 stacks of logs = 64 stacks of sticks) and simultaneously >buy things from the cleric until he levels up each time (if you find enough gold or flesh though then this step is slightly cheaper, so slightly fewer logs is needed) (specifically you spend 10 emeralds on redstone, then 12 emeralds on lapis, then 32 emeralds on glowstone, then 60 emeralds on pearls) *glass panes & cleric strat* you need to: >gather/craft 120 paper >blow up/harvest exactly 8.25 stacks of sand (so 8 stacks + 16) >smelt them into glass in furnaces (fuel with lava buckets / coal / any fuel) >go to nether >return from nether when ready >craft glass into panes (8.25 stacks of glass = 22 stacks of panes) & trade paper & panes with cartographer and simultaneously > buy things from cleric until he levels up & gives you pearls (just to note for anyone who wants to try this, there's a 2/3 chance of getting pearls from the cleric, thus a 1/3 chance of not getting pearls from the cleric) cons of sticks strat: requires savannah/snowy village or a dark oak forest cons of sand strat: requires 120 paper, and 8.25 stacks of sand to be smelted before you want to start trading in terms of getting paper from village chests & the 2 shipwreck chests, you can expect to get 1.8 paper from the average village chest, and 4.9 & 3.2 paper from the average shipwreck chests (only 2 out of 3 of them have paper). You quite possibly will get more, but that's the average, so about 110 other paper will need to be found from sugar cane / more chest searching.
okay I did my maths slightly wrong in that from the 2 shipwreck chests that contain paper, you can expect to get an average of 8.7 and 4.4 paper, so you "only" need to find 107 paper from sugar cane / more chests

Dream streams archived, do you give any percentage of the money you make from these videos to dream? Because if you don’t, you really should. Unless you and dream already have an agreement, in which case please ignore my comment but if not then you should because this is his work and I would hate it for someone else to, no offense, leech of my hard work.
