Dream is usually wholesome but he gave me chills in the animation, despite the fact that he doesn't speak or even show expressions, we can still see what he is saying and it creeps me out.

I really like how SADist drew tommy’s eyes. Also when tubbo was holding tommy back after eret betrayal was a really cute detail!

I feel that another thing that brings it personality is the fact that throughout the whole trailer, you do not see Dream's face fully until the very end, covered as it is with that white, smiling mask. Now, this in itself would not be unusual, but for the final scene of this trailer-like animation. "White flags, outside your base by tomorrow, or you are DEAD!” This scene takes away the anonymous side of Dream, the part that seems unemotional, the same blank smile and eyes staring at you even as he wreaks havoc. Now, finally, with his mask shattered, he looks bloodied, angry and ready to kill. The only difference is that now, you see him for what he truly is (at least in the way that SAD-ist has portrayed him). A killer, someone who will not stop until he has what he wants, someone who will do whatever it takes to bring those around them to their knees.

And again, the colour pallet here is not one of cheerful, bright or warm colours. Everything is muted in shades and in some cases softened, as if to protect the viewer from the brutality that is happening on screen. An example would be how the colour for the scene with Dream and Tommy firing at each other is a dark blue, symbolising sadness, and perhaps wanting a second chance. Similarly, the colour green is used whenever the Dream Team is onscreen (except for the "One day, the sun shall set on my time as king" scene), making the viewer feel anxious for the team of La'manburg when green is shown. And to go along with my other comment about Dream and the use of not showing his face, at 1:30, George is now similarly unnerving, for he is shown without a mouth, nose or lips, with just the goggles or glasses showing you who it is, and reminding you how detached he's grown from the other's screams of protest as he drops a stick of what looks to be dynamite (but is probably TNT in-game). Sapnap is not exempt from this either, as 1:56 shows a cruel, sadistic side of him as flames leap from tree to tree around him, a forest burning at his touch. While his face is still shown, this scene is somehow worse than the others, as Dream and George are faceless, and seem grim and desolate in performing their tasks, Sapnap seems to enjoy it, even relish it. He is also the only person in this animatic/trailer to look directly at the viewer, something which cannot be an accident. It's almost like he's daring us to stop him. Like we're the only ones left who can. But we didn't. And look where that got us.

Thats why this is a MASTERPIECE
