As a Dream Theater fan, this was almost a religious experience... so good

My daughter get's discouraged when she practices on her kit. She thinks that she doesn't have a good enough kit to play the metal music that she loves. I showed her your channel and told her that there is magic in those drums. She just has to keep looking to find it. I don't think she blinked the entire time she watched this. :)

Any drummer that can not only playthrough Dream Theater songs flawlessly, (and almost effortlessly in your case) but can also take Portnoy or Mangini parts and add your own style to them on a kit this small is God tier. So I have a question, how many touring band offers have you turned down since your channel took off?

This is absolutely incredible. The parts you’re playing like the original you nailed and the parts that you’re putting your own spin on are tasteful and groovy. One of your best covers.

Never heard of Dream Theater, never was really into this music in the past. Now I can't stop listening to this track and even created a new playlist on Spotify 😂That's the magic of music. You think you've heard everything cool before and suddenly discover a whole new direction that just blows you away. This coming from a total techno head. Estepario's cover was so awesome, it really burned itself into my brain.... forever.

Again, the sheer fact he does all this on a 3 piece is mind blowing. I’ve played music over 25 years. I’ve never had a drummer, who could even get this close with massive kits. Unbelievable!!!

I really want to see Mike portnoy play this now that he is in the band again

I was always called weird for using that technique in the beginning where you put the stick between your index and middle fingers. Always told my classmates that I could do some rudiments faster with it. So cool to see you doing it!

I just discovered you last month and I’m still picking my jaw up off the floor, I’m from the John bonham, Mike portnoy, Mike mangini and Marco minneman type drummers and I have to say that I have no words for the level that you have achieved. Absolutely amazing... how can anyone get any better.

My opinion of this cover vs his old cover: This version is more perfected. The technique is more solid and the ghost notes hold more emphasis. In saying that, his first cover was so much better than the original version of the song that I have become incapable of hearing it any other way. In conclusion, this cover is technically better than his first, but.. well there is no but. I really can’t decide which version I like more. Either way, they both trump the original and that is the most important thing. Great job man! Also, his right hand fulcrum has developed immensely, I thought I couldn’t get any better, he proved me wrong and I love it! The biggest difference comes down to the single peddle vs the double, yes the single pedal forces more creativity but it was all made up for by the perfection of his technique while using the double. You will forever remain my greatest inspiration for drumming. Thank you!
