Don't think this is "normal" Kpop, because it's not. Dreamcatcher are very special, and I'm pretty sure you'd like every song from them. But their message is even more impressive. Boca means "mouth" in Spanish and Portuguese. It is part 2 of the Dystopia trilogy, which deals with bullying and hate comments, in particular the online variant ("freak behind the mask" from Scream). Boca has the line "Too many angels dying now", which points to the effects those comments can have. Several Kpop idols have committed suicide in recent years, most likely because of cyber-bullying, but this is also about all the unnamed people who suffer from online bullies. They literally go to war in this video and tell haters to go and shut their "Boca" in the lyrics. And the music is absolutely awesome!

Ironically, they are kind of overlook in Korea as Dreamcatcher is considered to be unconventional and the industry would rather you not know about them.
@@EAPFilmsOfficial You really should check out some of their past offerings such as "Goodnight", "Piri", "Deja Vu", "Endless Night" etc. and also their B-sides like "Red Sun", "Sahara", "Break the Wall", 'Mayday", "Silent Night", "And there was No One Left" etc. and you will release that Dreamcatcher while unique, have a diverse body of work. Their title tracks tend to have rock/metal elements mashed up with other genres whereas their B-sides explored some of the other genres directly.
Ironically from what you said about kpop is more known in South East Asia, Dreamcatcher is more popular outside of Korea than within their own country. They've tour Europe i think twice, even America and other countries as well. They are starting to get noticed more now in Korea. And they are more diverse than any other Kpop group , but yet they are under rated.

Dreamcatcher was my first "kpop" group as well. Instantly fell in love with them after the first song I listened which was "Deja Vu". I really love how immersed you seemed, you listened to them with little to no interruptions. I give you all my respects! Feels so good to hear Dreamcatcher being praised because they are truly underrated and honestly you will have a very hard time finding another group like them. They are a true gem amongst so many artist.

They can fused in different kind of genre without loosing their rock sounds. You’d get EDM mixed with rock (Scream) then here you have moombahton elements with rock.

Dreamcatcher actually is very different from other kpop groups. Because they use rock element as their core sound in their song and mixed with other genre. You may not notice since Dreamcatcher is your first kpop group you experience but other people who already familiar with kpop always find Dreamcatcher as the most unique group. None of the kpop group has ever use the rock sound in every song they released. And next I reccommend Dreamcatcher song 'Scream' as BOCA actually the continuation from Scream storyline. South Korea likes to take everything to the next level. It's similar with Kpop. They just look at every possible aspect of music and try to improve it as much as possible. Song writing/composition, lyrics, choreography, styling, story telling, the music video etc. And yeah Dreamcatcher is very unique in Kpop, but they tend to experiment a lot with music over there either way. A lot more than in the west. So you often find very interesting songs, even if they might be too weird for your taste. In my opinion at least.
Dreamcatcher always puts out quality. They have more of a rock sound which is extremely rare in the Kpop world. They are extremely underrated within the Kpop community. You would probably love Scream and Deja Vu by them.

Yes, Dreamcatcher is my favorite 'kpop' group because they are very different from the others groups that have very similar concepts! I suggest you to react "Scream", "Deja Vu" and their live performances. They're are great vocalists and in the perfomances they delivered everything!
not sure if you will get a lot of kpop requests, but you will get a lot of dreamcatcher requests ;) but dreamcatcher is far from anything in kpop because they mash a lot of genres together and none of their songs sound alike. dreamcatcher also mixes a lot of rock and even metal instrumentation which is very rare in kpop. their previous korean title track is 'scream' and the one before that is 'deja vu'.
This group is not your typical kpop group. As from as I know this is the only kpop who uses heavy metal rock in their music (I hope I said it right, forgive me if I'm wrong, I'm still new in this fandom 😂😂). And they also have nice vocals, I think that was Siyeon who was hitting the high notes. I like this group so much, they are unique not your typical kpop... I hope you can also react to "Scream". For me, this song was more heavier than BOCA, I think. And also to "Break the Wall" Showcase and "Deja Vu".
They are technically K-pop. But they're the only K-pop group with rock influence as their title tracks of their albums. And sadly the Korean mainstream K-pop market underappreciate this kind of sound, but they're more popular globally. While their other songs within their albs, explore a huge variety of genres and fusion musically and instrumentally. It is not an usual kpop music. But I must say, this is the best kpop group i've ever seen since kpop generation 1, all the famous kpop group recently are gen 2 and 3, and this year is kpop gen 4. Why did I say Dreamcatcher are the best?? In fact I found them only early this year, but wow,,, their music and concept are totally different, maybe because i'm a rock music fan. They bring different vibes than the other idol groups from Korea on their music, rock and metal vibes are the best for me. You should check Scream, Piri piri, de javu, good night, and the most of all, check Endless Night, it is in Japanese lyric with full rock instrumen from start to end. You will love it.

Their songwriters, Leez and Ollounder, are a big piece of the puzzle. Actually, they are not too popular in Korea where kids are brought up from the cradle on mainstream KPOP. They’re an anomaly in the kpop industry because of their use of rock music and dark concepts. Since this is your first encounter with kpop, I would like to recommend some other groups. However, I don’t know your music taste and you might not like dramatic music as much as I do.

You picked quite the video to start with! If you want to try something similar to see if it was a fluke, their other major release this year, Scream, has an MV that hits in a similar way. If you want to try one of the more mainstream K-Pop groups, try ITZY's Not Shy, which was released on the same day. Top notch production values as they are one of the major groups. Music is much different of course. :-)
