In late July 2023, the girl group had announced an upcoming English album with remastered versions of their older songs, making this the first single. The farewell in the title references the end of the Apocalypse environmentalist storyline, where DREAMCATCHER realizes that humans need to spend some time apart from Earth for the planet to heal from global warming and pollution. The lyrics can also be interpreted as a breakup song, which enriches the original meaning to new listeners.

A few things: - I really like how natural it feels, like it was an english song to begin with. - I really like the lyrics, they did a great job with that. - I really like that they call it "Farewell ver.", and not just simply "english ver." - Siyeon is a beast! I hope after DC she will start a solo career.

When I saw the version name "Farewell" I thought it would be a ballad arrangement or something but damn, this is even more amazing 😭❤️ Dreamcatcher never fails to amaze me

I noticed that this version is not only different about the language but also the instrumental. Here the drums sound harder than the original one. If you realize, the rock instruments in the intro of the original version sound equal, while here the drum is more audible. Plus the piano (?) melancholic instrument at 1:32 sounds clearer. On the other hand, we got these melodic instruments at 2:56 and 3:03 less audible here.

Aaaaaaa the English lyrics' meaning is so close to the Korean lyrics! I love that they stayed true to the message! And when Dami's fast part ended with a rhyme, my jaw dropped. I'm not used to hearing rhymes in English versions of Korean/Japanese songs (understandable, since the lyricists aren't always fluent in English and translyrics are difficult to write)... so I was very happy to hear a rhyming part in Bon Voyage. The lyrics are just very well done overall, and the dynamics of the vocals are also similar to the Korean version. Musically, this is a masterpiece on par with the original

I don't know how to explain how much I love Dreamcatcher. I like a lot of groups, and I love a lot of the idols who make up those groups for various reasons. I even have biases in most of them... but Dreamcatcher. I don't have a bias in this group. I don't have a favorite. I just love ALL of the members. Every single one. And if I rank my favorite groups... DC is so far above the other groups I can't even place them first. They're just in their own league. There is Dreamcatcher... and then there is Kpop. I really like the translation of especially the Dami rap and the chorus. Dami's rap just flows really well and seems like a genuine full on English rap with internal rhymes and all while the chorus also just flows very well in my opinion!

What an interesting version. The mix in this song is different and sounded better to me. I particularly really loved the chorus part, it felt more stronger and more balanced harmonies between the vocal and the instrument sounds I also liked the english lyrics because I can understand more of what it was trying to convey. The members also sounded good singing it and didn't feel out of place for the most part In conclusion, to me this feels like an upgrade from the original song. Really loved what they done to the mix and I think the members also sang even better in this👍👍

The lyrics are still just as powerful in English. So proud of Dreamcatcher and all they've been accomplishing. JiU's voice still gives me the chills in this song. "I love you, nothing even matters, because I'm in love" THIS GROUP MAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNN MAKING ME CRY AT THEIR VOCALS! NOT TO MENTION THE TYPOGRAPHY, KFLJASKL

The amount of lines that actually can translate almost directly makes me think they planned when writing them originally to make this version. Also obviously the English is a big deal but can we talk about the arrangement in this version??? It's pretty subtle but there are some major differences! Especially the insane bass solo in the intro is mixed much louder! One other thing: The decision to replace the group chanting in the last chorus with individual members singing to mimic live performances is very interesting!

I love how they put the word Reason in there. It was such a nice touch for the fans.
