This is incredible on so many levels. EREBUS, amazing sound and the SQ-1, so simple and yet so powerful. This is one of my go to inspiration how’d they do that videos. I really like the fade out during the last 2 minutes. It is a little bit of a bummer but also part of analogue, pull the patches and turn the knobs and it’s all gone. Just like Keyser Söze.😀
@@AbyssalReverberations Glad to hear it. And thank you for your kind words. :) I don't really feel on a really high level. I'm mostly just messing around. It did click for me though when I found that I'm more inspired by knobs than keys. That's why I like Korg SQ-1 and DFAM so much. Keep making sounds, and you'll find you schtick some day, I'm sure of it! :)
hi, how do i connect erebus to a daw ? I bought erebus as my first hard synth and Im having hard time to get a sound from it at all. I also have a korg sq-1 but could not really figure out how to connect and use them together. Also Im trying to record it in ableton but something is missing and I cannot register it in intruments. If you could help with any of these would appreciate a LOT! how I shoud set things up and what i need exactly ? thanks in advance. also wants to say it sounds great what u do in your videos !
That's the Korg SQ-1. It sends gate to trigger the envelopes, and pitch from the two lanes to each oscillator individually. So the oscillators trigger together but with different pitches. Also, one lane is only seven steps, so the combination of pitches rotate. I love the SQ-1. ;)
