ill definitely miss the concept of owning a boutique I actually love the idea of building a brand, but it really depends on the execution - wouldn't it be so cute if you could customize your brand name, logo, branding and packaging?? maybe even make advertisements for your items to go on the billboards? 🤔 I've been thinkjng about this wayy too much
I really hope that if they do have Ouji style clothing for men, that it gets transferred to non-Japanese versions as well! I remember being so disappointed that Kanokoi was removed for men in Style Savvy : Trendsetters. I can dress up my male assistants in yukata but it’s not available for male customers 😭
I honestly hope that the "simple walk around world" is an extra area you can access through your phone while the "outside world" is managed differently. I could see the introduction being similar to NSB2/Style Savvy Fashion Forward, or being able to switch from the real world to the "Influencer World". The fashion options so far seem more modern and I honestly hope for the y2k and gyaru to make a comeback - but seeing the different types of japanese street fashion already gets my hopes up. Being able to choose your gender is a long awaited add on I am really glad about, though an androgynous body type would be cool too. Speaking of body types, I do hope for a bit more customisation options other than height. For gameplay I really hope for a story, not having any particular wishes, I just want to have a story line to follow.

OMG if my younger child self knew their was gonna be another Style Savvy years later she would’ve squealed and been so excited. Probably would’ve begged for this game and worked for it. Style Savvy made all of us become fashion designers and business owners. I really hope they stay true to the OG game in some way.
Where's my rock/gothic (mainly bc there was so much raven candle stuff that was in rock, so I count both together) fashion? 😭 I'm missing my StageDive, Raven Candle, AZ-USA and Purple Moon stuff! Give me my star tunic dress, cat beanie, striped hand warmer, biker boots and jackets baaack!
Finally!!! I can't wait! I love being able to play a male character! Style Savvy has been a go-to feel good game! Everyone is always so positive and encouraging in these games!

your passion is contagious, ive never actually played any style savvy game (yet) but i am SOO eager to play fashion dreamer. forming my own styles was the only thing i cared about in new horizons so im kind of relieved the interface of this game seems to be inspired by it
IM SO SO EXCITED I FREAKED WHEN I FOUND OUT ABOUT THIS! my inner child is so happy rn🫶🏾 all I gotta say is that I really hope they reveal more y2k and alternative styles (like AZ USA and Stage dive) because as much as I truly adore all the other styles, those are my faves and are how I dress! I’m sure they will, it’s early days. I also hope they have a layering option so we can wear skirt over jeans if we want to or two different tops like in style boutique 2! Idk if they’ll be doing the whole main characters thing again (like Callie & Sophie 🌝🏳️🌈) but it would be nice or if not I hope we get many fun storylines! Fashion shows too. Everything is perfect so far, can’t wait to invest in a switch this year and get the game!
Awww i cant wait to make weird styles, mostly celestial themed or cosmic comfy wear clothing with cute hues and shades of colors, this game is mostly likely comeing out in November or December around the holidays. I cant wait im hyped and starved for a good fashion game with tons of options!!!...plz im hoping it dosent suck...
I'm very excited I can play as a guy. But yeah I also am concerned about the gameplay loop and getting bored after like a week. To be honest, I did not enjoy the store management in the Style Savvy game I tried playing last year, so I'm not disappointed on losing that specifically. But I do want a reason to want to log in and play longer than like 5 minutes.
Can we get a whoop whoop that they finally made one for the switch! I really liked the fact that I owned my own boutique and I did like dressing up my mannequins for display in my past style savvy trendsetters . I have owned all the Style Savvy games and although the concept Of building your brand sounds cool. For some of us older adults that play the game it would have been nice to see more of some of the old things from past games. With this fashion Dreamer it would be nice to see that after building your brand being able to open your own boutique and sell your clothing would be nice to see in this game. Style Savvy is my guilty pleasure I will be picking this game up, I just really hope it stands up to the previous games as they were great.
I’m so excited for the gender options for the player character. I hope we can style more non-gendered outfit pieces and overall outfits with that; basically, I’m hoping there aren’t like “gender locked” outfit pieces. I also hope that there is still a level of having a shop even if it’s not really a “shop” anymore, but at least some game play where you’re styling people’s outfits based on their criteria and style and you progress through the game that way.
i would be happy about being able to play as a guy if you could crossdress and access the same clothes as fem characters, but it doesnt seem so, I'll just have to use the fem character anyway, so what's the point? T_T otherwise im super excited! thank you for making this video, ive been digging constantly for information and I love hearing people talk about it!
It looks like the second tab from the left at 12:29 might be for walking style/personality. I’ve been hoping for that too because since Trendsetters there were 3 distinct personalities where characters had different walking styles/standing styles/actions. The main characters had different standing styles but were still part of one of the three in terms of actions. In Trendsetters we had what I call the ‘Energetic’ personality and in Fashion Forward and Styling Star we were the ‘Calm’ personality (they switched the way we stood between these two for whatever reason, but the actions were still the same). We never were the personality that stood with the hand on the hip, which upset me because that was the one that fit me the most :(
Tbh I found fashion dreamer to be quite disappointing compared to the style savvy games, it’s such a downgrade in most ways other than the clothes themselves. I think there’s some really cute designs. Like I loved getting to know characters and build up to a story goal that’s more than making a number bigger. As well as the severely nerfed search bar, like we had patterns, colours, image, clothing types + micro types (eg mini skirt) and separate accessories. Now we have the basics with colours and that’s it for search terms. And the colours are less specific! There’s no pink or gold/silver? Blasphemy.

This looks very interesting. I do hope we get a bit more variety of body shapes and older characters. Pretty people are nice, but some of the boldest and most interesting fashion choices I've seen happen when the model breaks the conventional mould.
Have you tried buying a European 3DS and buying the physical European version of the game? I think it would be a lot less trouble than trying to homebrew your 3DS and using an emulator. I just tried downloading an emulator software because I wanted to play through Trendsetters again only to find out afterwards that the only legal way is to download the game from your homebrewed DS to the emulator on your computer :(
