Exactly exactly, the more tool options the better in my opinion :) We all find what works for us and I really love that the "conversation" about tarot is still ongoing, we don't really want it to be a stagnant system but one that is moving and morphing and growing!

Totally! I think anytime someone chooses to take on the enormous task of reinventing or restructuring tarot to some extent (even just choosing better names for the Major Arcana for instance) it shows that this person is really thinking, and moving forward on their spiritual journey. If the changes bother you, maybe it's time to take a look at WHY, and see if there is a message for you just in that reaction alone.

+Jess Johnson I think I can understand why certain people might be offended by the changes. There are certain people who value tradition and that's just the way they are and there's nothing wrong with that. there is nothing wrong with sticking to the tradition of something you value that doesn't mean that they should be judging someone else who has decided to do something unorthodox! personally if I were to make a deck I would definitely make my own personal changes however I would still stick strongly to the tradition just like the Mary El tarot for example where there are certainly changes and it is nontraditional however it is very much a Tarot deck system . again everyone is just different and we prefer different things and we are comfortable with certain things and we don't necessarily need to change the way we feel. therefore I think it isn't really necessary to ask why but just to accept that certain things are just not how we would like them to be and that's fine there's nothing wrong with sticking to the Traditions just not getting upset and judging something that is non-traditional a rambling LOL

I agree, I really love the emphasis on choice but also the understanding that sometimes it's not our own choices impacting us but other people's as well so a really complementary deck to my world view, loving it!

They definitely work together artistically O.O Now I just have to settle on a Lenormand :D

I do not think it is too complicated for a beginner, however I will say that it does change the major arcana so it isn’t a deck that you can take all you’ve learned and apply it to other decks so you should still probably be working with a traditional set up tarot as well :)

I would reach out to Blue Angel, they have released a 2nd edition and seem to have gone out of their way to replace damaged decks! It's worth the trouble to get a good one!

You can start with Major Arcana (22 first cards). They are more than enough

SupernovaPhoenix That means you got the second addition deck. The first addition has the black back and I guess it had some sort of issues with it. The stickiness is supposed to go away with use I’ve heard

That I do not know! The only way I've found is more mass produced where I will search Amazon for tarot decks and then order it be "newest" publication or something like that, and then it puts decks in that are going to be released.

This was the first edition. They’ve since been reprinted with a different backing and no gilding.

I appreciate your perspective, I would hope the video length and the title would make it clear that this is not a quick look at the deck. I can definitely understand not wanting to wade through it all and would say none of my walkthroughs will likely be of interest to you. Thankfully there are many options out there to get shorter walkthroughs! Much peace :)
