@@dannyg9410 nah... dont get it wrong, Cole isn't touching Kendricks best projects (GKMC and TPAB) but those albums are 5 and 8 years old now... if were talking who has the crown rn the only recent(ish) music Kendricks dropped is DAMN, the BP soundtrack, and his features and KOD > DAMN, ROTD 3 >>> BP soundtrack, and Cole's features >>>> Kendricks features (over the last 2-4 years).... Kendrick having a 3 year break after a good (not great) DAMN album definitely opened the door for Cole to take the crown... and Cole took that sht.

I work with kids that listen to a lot of "small" rap artists on youtube and soundcloud. I grew up listening to the "big-name" rap and underground/hip-hop in the 90s and early 2000s but didn't keep up and have a hard time connecting with them.
