Ari Lennox Dreamville. ONE OF THE BEST VOICES IN R&B MUSIC. Her debut album that dropped a few months ago SHEA BUTTER BABY is one of the best albums this year. she's amazing. Lute also dope as hell just needs to drop more music. Bas gets a lot of hype, ALOT of people talk about him (dude is doing huge shows internationally based on his kind of world music wave) Omen laid back and will prolly never be huge but will be consistent with bars. Cozz dope and ppl are aware of him. Ari Lennox is getting A LOT OF HYPE in the R&B world because of that angelic voice and authenticity JID already got star potential and is on the rise Same with Earthgang. Ppl are aware, I hope DEHH wakes up and checks out more of their projects. Everyone is dope as hell.

West 1996 Pt 2 by Lute is still one of my favorite Dreamville albums. Maxo Kream has two amazing albums and Punken from 2018 made my top 10 albums

JID has flow like Kendrick Lamar, voice like Anderson Paak, style like Andre 3000, punchlines like Lil Wayne and looks like Swae Lee. Lmao what a GOAT.

I've been saying for years, the worst thing about J. Cole is his desire to be both a producer and a rapper. If he steps away from making beats he could be a more amazing rapper. He should make beats along side another producer, or stop producing for himself.

This review made me want a J Cole x Madlib type of album. Not necessarily Madlib but if he found some producer to give him beats and challenge him like that I think he would go crazy

Album has a lot of dope vibes; Sacrifices, Self Love, and Oh Wow are my favorites.

Dam wish I had a seat at this table. To me Kendrick, School Boy Q and Jay Rock are like the big homies on TDE Isaiah Rashard and SZA are like the younger Siblings and Sir is like they cousin they hang with and the new artist signed are like your cousins your just getting to know yes they are a family but there's room for separation Dreamville on the other hand they Big Bro/Homies are probably Cole and Omen then there's Bas who's a long time friend of Cole Bas are Cozz got they own lil thing going then there's JID, Earth Gang and Ari Lennox who you can say are they younger sibling but the Gab between them and the Big homies is not a vast one they are like the younger siblings who can hang with the Older ones Dreamville may more likely be a closer nit team that TDE and in the past the Revenge of Dreamers series was a place is where the members of the Dreamville family can come together on the same grounds this time around they just invited some outside friends to the cookout you don't get much of that on TDE the first time I saw they all came together like that was on the tour they did but not on an Album to my knowledge the only time we've gotten this was with the Black Hippy Movement Kendrick notoriety allows him to stand out on a grand Scale, J Cole's style is layed back yet big enough that he can switch between being the driver to riding shotgun to riding in the back seat and then taking the wheel again.

My only issue was the sequencing. When i had it on shuffle it sounded waaay more cohesive!

J. Cole is my favorite rapper of all time, but his feature run over the past 2 years has been him rapping better than a lot of his albums. (Example, I loved KOD, but once I heard his 2018 feature run, going back to KOD made me realize that the verses on KOD were subpar compared to his features, and it might’ve brought my appreciation of the album down a little)

That Got Me track is another highlight for me , Omen and Dreezy snapping and Ty Dolla and Ari singing back and forth

I feel like Beezy should've known Omen was the earliest of Dreamville's roster b/c he's a fan of Cole's mixtapes Friday Night Lights and The Warm Up and Omen was a feature on both.

The album is decent I've preference compilation are ROTD 2 little bit more clearer and songs were sharper Ex: caged bird, Folger crystals. Omen been on roster for a minute since debut project Elephant Eyes yall gotta check that out! Sleeping little bit. main issue is the production little bit Samy sounding not enough from vibe of the verses from Earth gang lute jid Vince etc..

Reasons and Cozz SNAPPED on every song not just lambotruck, disappointment was Bas but its understandable bc he was at the sessions in the middle of his oversea tour, and we needed more Ari.
