The way he talks about Mort you'd think he'd be building up to the grand reveal that Dreamworks movies whole time have been an allegory about the futility of trying to fight against Disney. Mort the Mouse Lemur, Mickey Mouse. Etc. How Mickey Mouse absorbs smaller companies slowly growing it's monopoly is the same way Mort absorbs other Morts. Hoping this gets buried.

For boss baby, the babies themselves are a really big example of human enhancement. That is why the company creating the forever puppies is doing this. They are trying to get rid of these horrifying intelligent creatures while also helping the evolution of animals. I don't think it was the original meaning back when flower language was being developed, but aren't lilies now more commonly associated with death due to their frequency in funerals?

Lilies mean something different in French "flower language" or the meaning associated with the lily than in much of the rest of the world. Most of the world identifies them with Death, Transience, uh very similar to the Lotus symbology. The Lotus and Lily grow from pond muck into such beautiful life and to pond-muck returns unless plucked and preserved. A Lotus-Lily connection might help tie in the Kungfu Panda stuff

Something to note, The Fleur de lis, is said to be a symbol of life, purity and light. A “flower of life” being the symbol of the footmen could be a direct indicator that they are fighting against death, against their ultimate enemy, Mort.

i thought of the theory that the F.E.E.T were eradicated by the animals and when humans started getting hostile, the animals fought back with the blessing of the sky gods to eradicate humanity, but due to lack of humans to be able to support structures and animals lack of knowledge, they had to start from scratch

The pineapple part could be that the symbol could be an evolution of the song if it is indeed a method of communication with the sky gods and acting at a potential channel for the sky God's power and it seems likely that the sky gods in Madagascar's time have made there magic seem far less apparent with seemingly minor abilities when observed and when unobserved being capable of granting miracles through a song(remember the healing scene in Madagascar 3) (if you wanted to you could even theoretically chain real life religion into the narrative with various religious figures potentially being members of the Feet (because of the miracles they have pulled off in legend (which effectively connects larger concepts into it)

Something real interesting as well, the symbol on King Harold's crown looks a lot like the poster of the banana with the hand rising up from it, a poster the LALA made (Lemur Alliance Liberation Army), a poster that Mort made. It has a familiar look, but it makes me think of the role of those two LALA members in all of this, as they try and overthrow King Julien in the series.

@@Diabeanie Part 23 definitely took a toll on me. It's over 30 minutes long and... I'm not quite sure how to describe it. It solves everything to do with the moon, and then spends like 15 mins lampooning the sky gods for their sacrifices and then goes totally off the rails with evidence that's roughly twice as shocking as ANYTHING in this video.

Pineapples used to be symbols of wealth and status, as only the rich could afford to have them (Outside of where they were discovered, of course), it's not really farfetched to imagine a king wearing a crown with pineapple imagery

Great Theory, as always! But about the Hairstile: I think that was a pretty common hairstile in medieval times, because it was so easy to cut (Like, you just put a bowl over your head and cut the hair that stands out)

Did you know that certain Gnostic sects compared the order of creation to an ever-building up song? As long as you are positing secret cults, Gnostic groups have been traditional places to pull inspiration from. There was also at least one sect of them (they were not all violent please understand that) which believed that sacrifice and integration of another's soul into your own was a path to godhood. Also, ya know, Skygod worship and all.

You should look into The Adventures of Puss in Boots show, we actually see sky gods there who can connect to this theory. The king of god actually uses a guitar as his main weapon, plus there is a witch, named Maliflua who uses a FLUTE TO CONTROL BIES, both of these characters use an instrument as their weapon of choice and for some reason want Puss in Boots dead. Seriously watch this show, there are a lot of connections in the show with this theory.

If Mort has been scattered across dimensions, would it be a stretch to assume the Sky Gods', and Mort's, influence doesn't span the entirety of the multiverse? So maybe many univeres have differing amounts of magic, or maybe there's a limited amount of magic in each world, and in the Madagascar franchise the Mort we're familiar with has sucked up most of the magic in the universe he inhabits.

2:58 Once Mort finds all of his parts, he ends up being the Shishigami from Princess Mononoke & it’s been trying to come back to slow down the cycle of violence because the serpents amongst humanity have went too far, but other high beings or even specific serpents have stolen some of their other powers or have otherwise split them up, first my splitting them into their powers & their personality (who still is able to attend to their duties as to not destabilize existence). The powers on their own formed a malintended separate conscience known as “Mort” but has been subconsciously trying to return to their true form THE GRINNING DEER OF 1997.

Not sure how well it would tie into anything, but Rise of the Guardians is also a DreamWorks property, and there are a ton of connections there with a Sky God (The Man in the Moon) literally granting supernatural abilities and immortality to certain human beings; as well as animals, in the case of the Easter Bunny; with the purpose of keeping humanity from falling back into the Dark Ages by the hand a dark eldritch being (Pitch, the Bogeyman). Gets even weirder if you look into the books.
