The game is finally playable and it's worse than anyone ever expected. What more can I say at this point? I hope you'll stick around to get to the meat of this video because honestly even when scripting this out I didn't even realise how obvious some of these things were until I put the images together...Particularly about the Core Aegis funding, this just proves these guys are throwing money at things from friends/family to give themselves legitimacy.

@@Integroabysal MMOs are infamously expensive, resource heavy, and insanely time consuming to make. Teams in the hundreds are needed for even the worst flops of MMOs as they're seen today. You COULD make one with two people in the loosest sense of the term, but it'd be insanely shit, ala Dreamworld. Two men isn't even enough to do basic network upkeep and maintenance for regular MMOs.

@@notkenoagain no the engine is still rendering all the objects that are hidden by the fog. What atonished me was the thousand metre wall with the Pantheon on top. and the tiny little plots you have to pay for to build on.

You could only build them a few metres high and you only had a small little cubby space to build in not like you got a whole football park size to build around in.. You don't even get your own energy array beam either. But then that would overload the engine.

There's literally nothing wrong with using marketplace assets, that's what they're for. Every AAA game uses stock Quixel and Speedtree assets. But you also don't make a game by just dropping the demo environment into a 3rd person template.

At 12:52 All they did was apply an animation to the Character model and let it fall, so there isn't a unique falling animation at all. Also, the damn resource counter changes proving that they spliced 2 clips together! trying to make it seem like its some dynamic animation set that allows you to use an ability while falling (Something that isnt really difficult to do) Then all they did was splice a clip of the same method, using a different animation, before cutting to yet another clip of them in first person. All theyd have to do is add a new state in the Character Animation Blueprint with a Boolean (Basically a "If True then do this") for in the air and use the attack button or something to apply the new animation, pretty much how you would set up a Plunging attack or Running attack.

By the way, Manhattan traffic sucks for bikers, FOR SURE, and although cars don’t fly around cause of…traffic, it IS sketchy if someone decides to make a turn without checking the pedestrian crossing. However, if you run with earbuds, all you need to do is look slightly left or right when running across an intersection, for cars making a turn. If you’re jogging, idk how you get hit anyway, but yes, it’s hard to get hit by cars in ny. Unless you’re on a bike, then idk, that seems scary to me.

Out of curiosity. Any legal people here? I wonder how this could be taken into court regarding that they did kind of 'release the alpha' as they promised on their Kickstarter (If I remember correctly). Also I'm kind of scared for the content creators warning the community about these kind of scammers, definitely with the wide coverage of this scandal in particular. I fear if these scammers do come from wealth and did manage to fulfill their Kickstarter promise, would they be potentially able to successfully sue Kira, Callum or JSH for reputation damage? Anyone care to inform me a little bit about the safety of the creators in this matter?

When I saw the gameplay. Jesus on a bike. I expected bad, but that's literally no different than that first time you opened Unity or Unreal and installed the free asset packs so you could tell yourself jokingly "haha I made a game!" and then 5 seconds after running the build, you'd delete it, chuckle to yourself, shake your head amusingly, and start your actual first test project. I'm not exaggerating when I say this surpassed my expectations (of how terrible it would be). I'm embarrassed by proxy.

PPL PPL, its obvious that Zach is having some sort of problem, i belive he rly thinks this is gonna be a great game and thats why he keeps pushing it futher 0.0000001% each day. He needs help not hate.
