Hello Everybody!
Thanks for your overwhelming response to my June Garden Tour, and welcome to another tour of our Cottage Garden! This was filmed in September, and at this time of year, the garden is filled with dahlias, phlox, echinacea, and loads of produce. So lovely to see your September garden which gives me ideas for Spring! It was also really pretty seeing a garden at twilight as it gave your garden an overall soft glow...so pretty!

Used coffee grounds are great to sprinkle around flowers and plants. Slugs don't like to slither over it! I hardly had any this year.

It really is wonderful. I built garden boxes and trellises for my wife for her garden and it was incredible. My wife really has a green thumb also. It looks like you're really doing a great job. Thank you I can tell it's a love of labor. Thank you 😊

It's all lovely but the prettiest flower is Anna, I love the hippy dress, sun hat and sweater nice ensanble. I just realized you have Vocal Fry Miss Anna and I'm addicted! They say some people aren't into it but I think it's so cool it hits all of my positive triggers. 😅💓😊🏵️🤩

Not a grasshopper, it’s a katydid. You can tell by the triangle shape instead of being more rounded. Excellent predator for the garden.

I’m just so curious, may you share what state or zone where you live? I’m moving from Texas to NH and I’m inspired by your cottage garden. You mention temps in the -20 so I presume you’re in a similar zone. Thanks for your videos, I will come back to them again for inspiration. (Love blue salvia and pink roses too)

Hoe fo you achieve such a dense vegetation though? I live in a fairly sandy area and my garden beds look so pathetic haha i did fertilize with horse manure and linden leaves in autumn so i hope the quality of my soil has improved but i honestly dont know how to get so many plants that also bloom at different times... Honestly, planning such a garden requires almost a phd level of studying!
