Nice to see this one is progressing nicely. I have always enjoyed little ship games, ever since I first played the Overboard demo for PlayStation back in the demo disk days. Entirely different games sure, but just taking charge of a wee ship and sailing about always reminds me of that little gem.

To anyone who plans to buy this game. Honk the foghorn at the boat in the night it will honk back, very nice

I'm currently going insane because I am out at night. So that means I am hallucinating things. I'm getting off easy though as it doesn't seem like I'm seeing much stuff that doesn't exist. Oh wait. Hold that thought. There is another boat out there. I've never seen another boat before. I'm pretty sure it wasn't there earlier in the day time. Weird. I'm must not have been paying attention when we passed that way before. Anyway, back to what I was saying. If you stay out at night you start seeing things that didn't exist when you were sane. I'm kind of surprised that hasn't happened this time. I guess I just got lucky.

This game looks absolutely fantastic!

I haven't played the demo since Oct 22. I've been waiting IMPATIANTLY for its release, but also half following updates and changes so seeing all these new details they added has me extra excited for the release!

9:50 the Collector gives Splat Haste which he completely fails to notice even though the wants more speed.

My impatience to play this is an absolute violation to my day to day comfort.

It's considered bad luck to sail on a boat without a name. It is also considered bad luck to change the name of a boat. If it has to be done, there is a ceremony involved.

Great game and I was just about to buy it today but then I saw the DLC and felt like for what they're charging for the game $25 and $5 for dlc for something that should be accessible for free that I can't rightfully purchase Dredge and feel content with their sus marketing, but I love your showcase and you make me wish I wasn't so cautious, I will definitely get Dredge when Steam does a sale

Loved the Demo. The lovecraftian atmosphere and vibes were great and the fishing gameplay, so serene and peaceful at day and sinister at night. Cant wait for the full release

This have been on my radar for a while, and i see nothing that make me want it less this time either. There seem to be a new genre with relaxing games in the past 3 years or so, and i am all for it. It all gives me the same feeling of when i played Simcity on Nes in the late Jura period many eons ago.

With that ornate key, if you look at it during the day it says it's a "large ornate key -----" but if you inspect it at night when you're spooked out it's described as a "Small ornate key" which is how it's described when you give it to 'The Collector' - interesting, huh? This has me inspecting all of my items in both states now, though I haven't noticed any differences yet but I've only been playing for about an hour now

I must admit I've been a "aaa" gamer since 1985 (if you could call games back then aaa) but the last 12 months I've not touched my PlayStation. I've been very impressed with the indie offerings. I really like this game, I really liked choo-choo Charles, I'm in love with sons of the forest and I've Sunk hundreds of hours into project zomboid and a host of others I won't name. And the horizon is bright. Here's to 2023 and beyond.

when you auto sell the treasure it didnt sell the belt buckle because it wasnt "treasure". then you manually sold it. so the game did try stopping you lol

That grieving father quest is a nice touch for the game. A positive and negative outcome on what you do in game. Should have been tied up to the sanity meter.

I first heard of this game on the SkillUp FPS podcast. At first, I didn't think much of it because I don't play fishing games, but seeing this gameplay, it does look interesting.

The demo for this was great! The basics of it are simple enough but varied and fun, and the plot is excellent at supplying a building feeling of something wrong, from mild unease to outright dread. Do you want to know what's going on here? Are you really sure of that? 😁😱

A ship not in the ledger forgoes his protection. The same problem can occur if you change the name of your ship without going through the proper renaming ceremony.

This game is lovely and very polished. I wish it wasn't that expensive.

"Lard tastes GREAT!" You should hold onto that memory of all those lard laced meals my friend. It will help you forget about the 20% loss in pumping efficiency after your first heart attack. Seriously, heart disease sucks man. Take an hour to watch a quintuple bypass surgery sometime. That lard log will lose it's flavor in a hurry!

The water effect and wind seems to be inspired from windwaker

This game reminds me of farm simulator in a way. Just one of those relaxing little games that you play and just have time pass.
