Sorrow is a beautiful quality of our existence. But we tend to deny it. And that creates more suffering than welcoming it.
POEM:
Here we are crying the grief of the world.
Broken-hearted lovers drenched in sorrow.
No knowing if these tears are ours or the world's, or just the fact of being human.
No more lost in denial or any attempt to bear at all.
No more brave face or false mask, just this surrender.
And in this great allowing, something new stirs within us, and within the heart of the world,
New growth, a new way, a new vision emerging out of the rain.
May we walk tenderly on the new path.
Yes, we are drenched in sorrow, but that sorrow is the doorway to life's true beauty,
And few dare go through, but you and I my friend, we are made for this.
