The final day of the FEI Dressage European Championship was the ultimate equestrian show with three outstanding women claiming the podium! After already winning the Special, Jessica von Bredow-Werndl and TSF Dalera BB also claimed gold in the Freestyle competition with a total of 91.021%. Danish rider Catherina Dufour came in 2nd on Bohemian with 88.436% followed by British Icon Charlotte Dujardin on Gio with 87.246%.

A huuuuuge „thank you“to FEI TV for posting this wonderful summary of the tests from our 3 freestyle medal ladies 🥇🥈🥉🐴🐴🐴❤️👍🏻 so well deserved for all of them, THAT‘S what dressage is all about and how it should look like 👏 seeming effortless, harmony between horse and rider- like 2 become 1 and dancing to lovely fitting music 😍 Gave me goosebumps ! Wonderful PR for the equestrian sports 🙏

Charlotte & Gio made my day, that was an awesome test! And Dalera was in top shape as well. I have liked former rides of Dufour, but today not so much, I thought the self-carriage, head position and frame of Bohemian were not as good throughout almost the entire test and his piaffe looked a bit flat. Dufour looked like she had to work quite hard (compare with Charlotte, where you can see much less aids). Perhaps Bohemian was just tired today, like some other horses that also performed a lot recently (plus only recently came back from the long road to Tokyo).

Mkay, I've GOT to say it! A horse performing at such a high level of athleticism, and capable of having a *poo* and not skip a beat!! Like, imagine a pole vaulter doing that!!! 🤣
