As A Freshman! 🏆 People need to understand NBA is full of politics. NBA Championships don't always measure how great a player actually is, Melo is definitely appreciated from a life long NYK fan!
@@johnmickns you’re right they weren’t suppose to and when I look back out it that Kansas team didn’t have any real ballers melo was clearly the best player on that floor during the championship game hakim warrick and Gerry McNamara did a good job containing nick collision and Kirk hinrich
Good point, but most can’t understand this!! I never measure a players greatness by the number of championships won…Reggie Miller, Charles Barkley, Patrick Ewing are just a few that never won it all but were great players!!
See This is Why it is IMPORTANT ... for YOUNG BLACK ATHLETES to go to #HBCUS .... notice the coach said how they Made millions and was able to donate to charities because of it
@@demarcusthompson5447 Kansas would have had a chance if they would have made most of there free throws but watch Melo do his thang i knew he was gonna be a special player
Are Syracuse Community is grateful for that NATIONAL CHAMPION YR 2003yr, thank you Melo THAT ONE YR COACH Jim B. and the entire staff players that MADE THIS HAPPEN.
I remember in the tournament against OU, during a timeout, the camera caught Boeheim saying to Carmelo, "what the f&%k" are you doing?" i laughed so hard

Black people also need to donate to HBCUs, so that the HBCU schools can have facilities that can attract top athletes like Carmelo Anthony. The Syracuse basketball program is like a Ferrari. Some, not all, but some of these HBCU programs are like a beat up Chevy Cutlass. If you want that type of athlete to come to the HBCU's, we need to make that Cutlass look as good as possible. New paint job. Throw some rims on it. Even if it isn't the Ferrari, it'll be good enough for you to be seen in it and drive around in.
Beohiem almost hit me with his 325 BMW on 23rd St in Manhattan... And we stared each other down for about 3-4 seconds... And I jumped around in joy!!! 🤣😂🤣 #SyracuseFan 💪🏿💯👍🏾
Single elimination tournament. You have to win six games. One of most difficult tournaments to win. What UCLA did ( didn't have to win six in a row) was phenomenal. Duke winning back to back. Incredible feats. Syracuse probably had better teams, but one bad game, a turnover here or there, some opposing player has game of their life (Villanova vs Georgetown), you go home.
@@mr.albert2847 Many dominant teams have lost. Just one slip up. Kentucky was best team and lost to Wisconsin one year. Also lost to West Virginia one year. Indiana had great team in 75 and lost to Kentucky in Final Four. Georgetown lost to Villanova. Single elimination is just as much much about luck as being great.

@@eyewatch2see77 YOU get a clue. Thats ugly as shit. I wouldn't wear that if I was the richest person on earth. Has zero to do with money and everything to do with good taste. Men wearing velour yoga pants now? Christ..
Braids were his style when he was young. For years, he had the shorter haircut and it was better. He needs to stop living in his young days. He’s closer to 40 than 30.
Thank you Drew Barrymore for bringing a bright light to the men's basketball program at Syracuse University and the fact Carmelo is an absolute gem of any alum that has ever graduated and that makes me Su alum proud!
The media loves Anthony so much… he’s always been an average player. 75% of the players in the NBA could do what he did and even better with the opportunity for touches. A classic media darling!!
